I'm going to get mine cut in the next week or so, and I need some inspiration! I have poker straight, very fine chestnut hair with absolutely no volume to it, and it is in need of some TLC. But, I'm terrible at picking out what I want.
What do you have? Any ideas for what I should get?

i have no idea what you should get, your face shape has a lot to do with what would be flattering, but i do like my current hair cut, but once in awhile, i miss my long hair.
do you have a celeb with a similar face shape? i like googling images of celebs with similar face shapes to me for ideas, otherwise i get distracted by hair i like on other people that would be awful on me

yea. im thinking about chopping it off tho. i have long-ish hair with tons of layers and face shaping layers in front. i also had a ton thinned out because i have TOOMUCHHAIR.

@beaker: I love that one! I got that hair cut a few months or so ago, and walked out of the salon feeling sassy! I haven't kept it up though. I have fine hair, but it does have some wave to it in random sections. I realized this haircut looks great when you're hair is poker straight, but no so much with waves.

Ehhh- my hair is kinda a mess- its growing out after I cut it when pregnant. And I have all these crazy short hairs from all the hair that fell out PP.

My hair is long and straight. Once I year, I chop it off to shoulder length bob, tapered and thinned out like crazy.

I have the same hair as you. And my answer would be "what haircut?" It had been sooo long since my last cut, it's ridiculous. I think I'm going to stay long for the summer though...to make braids and buns easy.

@beaker: I had this cut before and seriously loved it. My hair is getting really long now, reaching almost to below my boobs... you posting that picture makes me tempted to cut it all off again!

I just got mine cut. I usually don't keep my hair longer than shoulder length and usually just go for a chin length bob when I do get cuts. But I wanted something different, so I asked for a layered bob/long pixie. I love it - it has lots of texture and movement. I don't have to do anything to style it but if I want, I can run some hair wax at the ends to create a really cute messy look.

I have the same response as @Mrs Green Grass. My first response was "what haircut?" The last time I got mine cut was when DD was a newborn and she slept the whole time. I have just been letting it grow since then (convenient because I have to wear it up all the time unless I want DD to yank it all out) and it's a mess! You have inspired me to schedule an appointment...
