@banana: Dh makes jokes like that and gets the death stare. He actually insisted on going into her room to kiss her goodbye one morning and it woke her up. I was so tired I just kept staring at him saying incredulously, you woke her up!?

@Foodnerd81: OMG if I actually woke her up, he'd be PISSED. haha. I always joke about it but I never actually do it. He actually woke her up? OY!

@banana: he didn't mean to, but when he opened the door and kissed her headshe woke up. To be fair she probably would have soon anyway, but you know every minute of sleep counts! And he couldn't even stay, he had to go to work.

@Foodnerd81: So she woke up and he went to work? OMG. Even if she would've woken up on her own, I would've still blamed him for that!
But seriously....how cute are babies when they first wake up???

For sure! I feel bad too. Unfortunately, after they go to bed, I'll have a good hour of cleanup time =(

Yep, I look forward to LO going to bed. Even though we see him awake for an hour or so after work, it's a very busy hour as well as worrying about what we'll eat, etc. I need a breather sometimes.

I'm a WOHM and yes I look forward to bedtime. I feel bad saying that! I love spending time with him but he gets super cranky and whiney before bed and it drives me crazy.

@mrskc: YES! By the time I get home, my DD is super cranky and tired from being at daycare all day. So I get maybe an hour of quality time before she starts whining and crying from being tired.

@banana: yep, exactly what happens with my LO. He will have a great day at daycare and be in a great mood for them. As soon as I get home, he clings to my leg and whines for me all evening. I can hardly even go to the bathroom!

Usually yes, she gets crabby when tired, so she's not fun to be around
I hate that it comes quickly but I don't like the alternative! ha

@mrskc: My DD won't let me out of her sight!! It's kinda cute and I secretly love it. But it's exhausting holding her all night. She's a chubby wubby baby. And of course my son is whining that HE wants to be held just like his sister. There are a lot of times that I'm holding BOTH of them! Can you imagine? My son is 3 1/2!!! I can only do that for like 3 minutes though and then I put him down. And then of course he starts crying and complaining. Sorry...this actually happened last night so I'm venting a little.
