We don't love our current place. We live in a duplex separated by a spiral staircase. There's a lot of wasted space downstairs, and plus the spiral staircase means that the kids can never come downstairs.
I think our next apartment will be smaller, as we've been decluttering and learning to live with less. We hope to throw away another 30-50% of our current possessions!

I don't love it...but I could if it were ours. We rent and
I'd majorly renovate the bathroom and kitchen cabinets as well as give it some paint. Then I could really live it because i do love the layout, the location and some of the main features.

I don't love it, but it's part of my childhood home, so it's got a sentimental component at the moment.
We're moving again in about a month and a half, and I already know I won't love the house itself. The location and yard though, I love.

Love it! Considering we just moved in ;)....however, it does need some more work in addition to the work we have already done. We are slowly making it our own.

Nope, we don't love it. It's small and old. It seems to get messy fast or look cluttered faster because it's small. And we don't have a lot of closet space, but on the plus side it's cheap, we're in a nice, diverse, family oriented neighborhood near the park, and my horrible upstairs neighbors who fought all the time just moved out!

Nope. We live in the NYC area so our apartment is typically tiny. I also hate living in an apartment and sharing walls with people, and I hate not having a car because a parking space is over $200 per month. I'm pretty much stuck between desperately wanting to just move to another city entirely and enjoying my job/our current stability too much to make a big change.

We just moved to a new apartment, and I love this one! I hope we'll stay here for years and years. Our last place was full of problems, so we were very happy to get out of there.

Yes I enjoy our space but the location is too far from town for my taste. No traffic and close to work though. We must still consciously force ourselves to declutter. It is such a forever process but we intend to live simply and get rid of extras.

Yes! We will eventually need a bigger place but for right now it's perfect for our little family. And the location couldnt be much better for us.

Yes, we've been following the market in our area and have seen every house in our same price point that has become available and there is not one (even going up to 20% higher) that we love more than ours!

I love our condo, but it's not perfect. We'll be perfect having our first child in here, but need to start looking for our next home afterwards. But it's in the perfect location, just 5 mins from the Chicago downtown loop, and 5 mins away from 3 major highways. Super convenient!

Yes I love it. I'm in my parents home that I inherited. I grew up here and DH and I did a ton of remodeling before we moved in to make it "us" and it needed updating.

If we could finish the updates I would love it but not dor a family. The bathroom is to small for just me, adding a kid into the mix would be a disaster.

I love our home, and we purchased it knowing it would be our forever home. It's in the perfect neighborhood for our family. It is a tad old and still needs some extra love and renovations. We're working on slowly making it perfect. It always felt like home from the moment we moved in.

I think the pros outweigh the cons, and I love most things about it. We moved here before having lo though, so I didn't realize that we wouldn't have as much room as I would like. But its still livable.

I love some of it, but I don't think we'd buy this house. Just renting! The house itself is good for us now but not for future growth. The backyard is horrible- big L shaped disaster. And the neighborhood is meh. But the living area is awesome, as is our master. One of the great things I've discovered about renting (we're previous homeowners and I'm loving NOT being homeowners right now.)

The longer we're here, the less I love it. The kitchen is terrible, there's no basement (no storage!), and the yard is too small. And the neighborhood is terrible. We've been casually looking for a new house, and I think we'll probably start looking more seriously soon.

I do love it. Once in a while, I pretend that we had surprise triplets and had to move, so I go on MLS and look for a bigger better house. Very hard to find one I like better. I hope we stay here for years and years.

I like it but I don't LOVE it. It's perfect for our life situation right now but we definitely need more space and a yard! I don't like that it's a 2-story townhome. We plan on moving in 5 years to our forever home. Can't wait!

We're in an apartment, and it's definitely my favorite apartment that I've ever lived in (except that I wish it had two bathrooms!). But, it's an apartment, and comes with the annoyances of apartment life--can't paint, no garage, annoying neighbors, etc. (Though definitely the least-annoying neighbors I've had--no loud, annoying college students!)
I can't wait until the day comes when we can live in a house!

I love it for the stage of life we're in right now! It's the perfect size for us, I love that the backyard is big (for living in the city/burbs), we're within 15 min from all of our parents/close family and we're in a great school district. Our neighborhood is also very family friendly.
We will eventually need a bigger house though. With #2 on the way and plans for more kids we will outgrow this house within the next 5-10 years.

I love my house because it's the first house DH and I bought together. It's a lovely house in a great location with a huge garden. BUT the house is way, way too small. You can only fit one person in the kitchen at any one time, the bedrooms are tiny and the bathroom, well - we were just looking into replacing our bath and discovered that it's not even a full sized bath in there! TINY! It's hard because my house prior to this was huge but it was in a terrible area - DH was desperate to move as soon as he moved in with me!
If we came into some money I'd definitely want to build an extension onto our current house rather than moving.

I won't miss the apartment itself when we (eventually) move, but I will miss the location. Hopefully we can find a nicer place nearby!
I am fairly certain there is a special circle of hell for landlords who install fluorescent lights in kitchens.
