I have always liked the name we chose a lot, but I was worried I would have second thoughts. Now that she's here, I LOVE her name so much! To the point that I am quite proud of myself, haha. I can't imagine picking a different name. I guess that's probably pretty common though - you can't help but love the name of your child!

Yes! I loved it before but now I really really love it. I know exactly what you mean about feeling proud of choosing such a great name. When people ask her name, then make a comment like "oh that's beautiful" I say thank you but I'm thinking, I KNOW, right??

Yes! We (well, I) had actually intended to call her primarily by a nickname, but now I find myself using her full name more frequently. It just fits.

Ummm... I still don't like the name we picked. My husband was dead set on it, and I thought it would grow on me, and I guess it maybe kinda suits her... but I dunno. I just call her various pet names to avoid saying it, and get in trouble from my husband because he's worried she's never going to learn it.

Sorta? I gave her a pretty serious full name, and although her nickname fits her perfectly, her real first name is still a bit much for my little darlin

I love it! We didn't tell anyone her name before she was born so I didn't have any feed back on it. But I think her name is perfect, unique enough without being too out there.

I definitely doubted it for a while after he was born...maybe a month or two? It wasn't one of my Top 5 names, but it's D's middle name (mostly, D's has an S on the end), and his dad's, and was his maternal grandmother's maiden name, so it was important to D to pass it on. Evan ended up being the only name that fit all of our criteria.
But I LOVE it now, and I can't imagine him being named anything else!

It wasn't a worry after we saw him on the 3D/4D ultrasound at 30 weeks- it just fit him. We had one other name that could have worked fine too, but we both were happy with the one we chose.

Sort of. I love the nn so much that we are cutting off part of her name. She fits the nn.

I had doubts about the name we chose for the first few months... Did we spell it right, did it fit him, etc... Now, at 7.5 months old, I am totally, completely in love with my sons name and very proud of it!!!
