I just want to gauge how weird I might be.

Does anyone else narrate for kids that can't talk?

When LO is doing something, you just put words into their mouth?

Like if you DH is feeding LO and they split it out or try to avoid the spoon. I might say something like "Dad! I am not hungry anymore! Stop trying to feed me!"

Or one time LO was looking at a toy that he dropped and we gave it to him and he promptly threw it back on the ground looking at us with a dead stare ... both DH and I said "Did I tell you I wanted that toy PARENTS!!"

Haha. We have good fun with it. I feel like we might be the only people that do this though.
