First job in college!

Actually DH and I work for the same company. It is *huge*, though. He has to come and do work in my building sometimes so I see him every other day or so. We don't work on the same projects and don't hang out or anything...but he'll come by my desk, say hello, and then go do his business.

Honestly I do not mind and wouldn't as long as we don't interact regularly on work projects. He could work 3 cubes down from me and I would rarely see him.

We work for the same small/medium sized company. We work on the same projects for the same clients so we are actually together quite a lot. However, we met at work so it's always been this way!
Honestly, sometimes I think it'll be weird when we don't work together anymore. I don't think we'd both stay her "forever" and I know I'll miss carpooling and lunching together every day

I was her boss when we met. We worked well together but it was a huge gossip subject for everyone else (ooh lesbians!) and we ran into issues there. We ended up shifting things around so we didn't work directly together anymore. We've since moved to another state and started separate careers. I think I'm thankful that we have different work spaces. I would still consider a position at her department to be closer to her...but for lots of reasons I couldn't be a police officer.

DH and I met at work and worked at the same company for 5 years, which was about 6 months into our marriage. We loved it and miss it all the time. We never worked on the same projects, which was key. I would stop by his desk in the morning and say hi for a few minutes, and we would have lunch together every day, and then I'd usually see him in the afternoon too. We also im'd quite a bit during the day (though we do that now too and work at different places).

It was nice knowing all the same people, understanding each other's work stories and getting to see each other throughout the day without spending every minute together. I always feel like we don't get enough quality time now :(.

My DH and I own a company and we work together in it side by side. Many people told us it would be a bad idea (we were dating when the company started) but it works totally for us.

When we were teenagers we worked at the same grocery store as an after school job. That's where we met!

DH and I worked for the same store for 4 years. We were in different, but connected, departments (he was in the warehouse, I was in online shipping/CS). It was a tiny place, maybe 20 employees total, and we saw a lot of each other. We took lunch together and our jobs had us in contact repeatedly throughout the day.

But it worked well for us. I tell him I knew that marrying him would be a good idea since we could work together all day and come home and still want to spend time together

We never have, and I think if we had to work in close quarters we would regret it, however I have mentioned to my DH about sales at my current place of business, but he's not interested in switchign.

DH and I used to work for the same large company. For many years we worked in different divisions but 3 years ago we both transferred to the same division. I worked with a few of his co-workers but never with him directly. It was fun carpooling to work together everyday.
