DH hates shopping; the biggest perk from having a wife is that he no longer has to shop! He would still shop for specific items online but I pretty much buy his whole wardrobe & he usually likes everything I buy! He's a simple guy and not that into fashion.
One time I scored this shirt/vest combo that's sewed together as 1 piece, he thought it was the coolest piece of clothing ever

He buys his own clothes. He prefers nicer stuff from JCrew/Banana Republic/Fossil, then wears it forever haha. (I'm a target/ old navy girl).
He is incredibly picky, and I've learned my lesson picking out shirts for him and then seeing never get worn.

Um, I totally buy his clothes. He doesn't care what he wears at all, except that if it were up to him all he'd own would be these black active shirts and brown cargo pants (and still wears this most days to work....he seriously has 5 pairs of brown cargo pants and like a dozen of the shirts). I've been slowly adding things like jeans and colored shirts to the closet over the years

Usually both of us together. Lol. I pick them out and he tries them on and makes the final decision. For christmas though he wanted me to take $100 and get him some shirts and sweaters from TJ Maxx. I got like 14 for him and I did a pretty bangin job.

My DH would never let me buy his clothes! He's very into shopping for himself, fashion, etc. I have bought him a few shirts here and there as gifts, ties and always do fun socks for Christmas. Outside of that, he's on his own! He does value my opinion though. Especially for major purchases like suits.

I just started buying DH's clothes. I couldn't the freakout that would happen before every event where he realized he had nothing to wear or the endless shopping trips where he couldn't 'commit' to any garment. I never thought I would buy his clothes but my life is soooo much easier now.

I buy DH his t-shirts mainly. He has a casual dress code at work, so I'm on the lookout for fun shirts. He's a bit picky about jeans and buys them once every couple of years. He's due for another jean shopping trip.

Usually we go together or if I'm out shopping and see something on sale I will pick it up for him. He wears the same couple style shirts in different colors everyday, so he's not hard to shop for. He also is able to dress casually for work, so I don't have to pick up dress shirts with specific measurements. He has gone shopping a couple times on his own to pick up jeans on sale.
I'm not sure the last time he bought underwear/undershirts on his own though. I think his mom bought them for him until we got married and now I do, haha!

DH. I HATE shopping. He does the shopping for himself and me. I don't have the patience to go shopping, unless it's for DS. Plus I'm too indecisive and cheap.

DH and I have been together almost 3 years and I think the only new clothing item he's purchased is a pair of pants. Maybe a tie. But I don't really buy him clothes either...I think I've bought him a bathing suit and some boxers over the course of our entire relationship. Oh and running shorts. His mom usually buys him clothes for his birthday and Christmas, haha. Button downs and sweaters and stuff. He and I probably should go shopping soon to update his wardrobe but both of us hate it!

I usually buy stuff for him. He is REALLY tough on his clothes--so I am usually replacing something that is hole-y, or stained, or worn out. He is really bad about keeping at least one or two outfits "nice" aka not doing yardwork in them, hiking in them, etc. Ha!

Casual clothes, socks/undershirts, etc, I do. Like jeans, button-downs, ties, etc. I try to buy him shoes, but have to return them 90% of the time because of fit. He buys a ton of sports tees himself, and a lot of tees and casual clothes when we're on vacations.

I used to buy him clothes and then realized he'd rather wear the thinned out, hole-y t-shirt and ugly-a$$ work out pants that he's been wearing since we first met... um 11 years ago! Well, I still do but it's rare. He'll get mad at me for buying him clothes b/c he doesn't need it. I guess hinting that he needs nicer clothes wasn't working. 
But he'll go and throw down a good amount on work clothes once in a blue moon b/c he does wear those more. Poor guy has to wear a suit every day even when it's 90 something degrees and super humid. He hates shopping though b/c he'd rather put the money in our kids' education. I can't argue with that...

DH's the same way! He hates shopping and detests dressing up. Either me or my mom buys his clothes. He likes the big & tall shirts she gets him. The only time I can actually get him into a store is when we visit family in CA and only at Ross! He can't resist a bargain and we don't have those kind of stores where we live.

He buys his own clothes, but often will ask me to join him shopping. I hold stuff for him and help look for sizes.

We usually go together but he basically has a uniform that is pretty easy so in a pinch I can buy things for him. His size has been changing though so it is tricky to get that right without his help.
