We have an old analog one. I want to buy a digital one but I'm too cheap to spend the money on one.

Yep, and analog one. I refused to step on it for months, though, until last night...and I was down 5lbs!

We have a digital but I think it's still a few pounds off. I put DS on it today just for fun and know he weighs more than what it said. It was always off too when I would weigh myself before my dr appts.

Yes. We used to keep it in the kitchen pantry, but now it's in the first bedroom closet. Go figure. We weigh ourselves pretty often too.

Nope. Haven't owned one in years. I had an eating disorder as a teen (who classically danced), and it's not healthy for me to constantly obsess over how much I weigh (which I would do if we had one). I know how I look and feel, and how my clothes fit, and that's all I need.

We do, and for whatever reason it's in the kitchen (?!). I think it's actually a couple pounds heavy.

Yep, we have one. But we are planning on getting rid of it because LO takes it out and tries to step on it to weigh herself A 13-month old should NOT be trying to weigh herself. She thinks it's a game because mommy & daddy weigh themselves too much.

@erinpye: pretty much this (except I didn't dance). I haven't owned a scale since college--wouldn't be good for me.

We do. I bought it when I was starting to lose weight, but we've had to hide it a couple of times when I get obsessive about weighing myself. Knock on wood, that hasn't happened in a while, but DH is not against taking it away from me if need be.

Yes, I have one that does weight, bmi, fat and water %. It was in the kitchen until my 4 year old started weighing herself and asked me if she was losing weight.... now it is put away in my bathroom.

We have a cheapie one that really only gets used for weighing suitcases before going to the airport. I think husband uses it from time to time. I just go off how my clothes fit.

Yep, a cheap digital from Walmart. I need to hide it. DH is obsessed with weighing himself!

@LovelyPlum: Same here! DH has had to hide it from me multiple times.

Yes, and I'm only slightly obsessive about checking it daily. Not that it matters as I'm happy with the way I look, but when I see the numbers pop up, it makes me a bit happy each morning. Stupid, I know, but I just like knowing the actual number.

no, we don't have one. or if we do it's stuck in the back of a closet somewhere. i stopped weighing myself a long time ago because i feel like i would get obsessed.
pear / 1693 posts
Nope, finally got rid of it. Not good for me at all! Like other PP I've struggled with eating disorders in the past and can get obsessive.

@erinpye: Same here. Haven't owned one since I brought it to day treatment and smashed the sucker
clementine / 896 posts
Yes and I don't use it anymore because I've been the same weight for months now...until I can lose some weight I don't wanna step back on it.
