There was a moment in time I would pack his lunch, but now he does it. It was just throwing yogurt & spoon, tuna snack, and protein bar in a grocery bag. I still fill up his water bottle to help him get out of the house faster. Now, he just takes a couple of protein bars and a serving size of crackers to work.

Sometimes! If DD would start sleeping well regularly I'd do it all the time. It's hard to pull myself out of bed to do it when the kids aren't up yet and I've been up 4-5x in the night.

I usually pack him leftovers for lunch. If there are no leftovers he will scrounge something up or buy lunch.

He packs his own lunch. Normally leftovers. It took a lot of encouragement from me though for that to be his habit.

On days that we're both working out of the home, we'll take turns packing lunches. We usually have to pack stuff for DS for day care or for one of our dads the next day, and we do a lot of that the night before. We're a pretty good team when it comes to that and divide and conquer so that we both have time to relax and unwind for a few minutes.

he packs mine :-)... But it's easy, I usually only eat one thing, like a bagel with cream cheese or a serving of pasta. They're usually already packaged up, too, in Pyrex or tupperware.

Yes, I usually do. But it's just part of the evening routine - I pack both our lunches at night. If I did it in the AM it would NOT get done. I am usually packing dinner leftovers so it's no big deal to pack his too. He usually washes dinner dishes while I pack. And if no leftovers, I make us both sandwiches or something, cut up fruit, etc.
I don't mind since he's doing other work in the kitchen at the same time. And if it was up to him, he would probably not pack much and just eat out - just because of laziness. So, this saves us money and we're both eating healthier.

@Mrs. J: my DH does this too, I have to literally leave it on the doormat right before he leaves!
Occasionally he takes leftovers, or if I've been shopping the day before I'll get him a sandwich, otherwise he buys something at work.

If he takes his lunch I'm the one who packs it. But lately he's been working a lot of hours, so he prefers to go out so he can get out of the office some.
