A huge pet peeve of mine is when I want to read an article on CNN but it is in video only. I hate watching news videos online!!
There's always ads/buffering/intros to watch. I wish they had a written copy to accompany every video!

Read! Since I'm at work most of the day I can't really watch online. And I don't like watching it on TV b/c you have to watch in the sequence they're reporting where as I can choose to read whatever I want, wherever I want!

Read!! I hate when things are only videos. It feels like it is lazy on the part of the news outlet, and I can't really watch videos during the day.

Read. hate the videos. I know the media caters to the lowest denominator but it's really annoying that they all assume we can't read (and want to be subject to their commercials).

Read!!! I can't stand it when there isn't an option to read. Especially since I'm mostly on my phone during work, I can't exactly watch a video. It's also much quicker for me to read, too.

I like a combination, but I never watch the news videos on news sites. I watch a lot of news stuff on YouTube though.
