I love visiting cities! I have a good time visiting nature destinations (we went to Costa Rica for our two year anniversary!), but I generally prefer going somewhere in a city. I just love walking around cities and having coffee and meeting locals...
Do you prefer traveling to a city destination, or to somewhere in nature?

City. There are museums, zoos, bookstores... you never run out of things to do.

I have been to a lot of cities so I prefer something in nature nowadays, especially water activities.

I love both. I am kind of an underground hippie living in a city. I love to be outside either way. Right now though I am craving outdoor nature time (I love camping, but also love staying downtown in a city), especially involving water.

Nature. Definitely. I come away from cities feeling sapped, but when I am outside I always feel energetic and satisfied.
We spent some time today in the rain in one of our fields and the adjoining creek. I'll have to come back and share a short video. It was fantastic! We got to play in the water and find animal clues, and follow trails, and it was just us with no one else around. I feel like the girls get a lot out of being in nature, too.

Nature, most definitely. Both FH and I LOVE nature. We're actually traveling west this summer with another couple and I wish we could camp all week, but the other couple does NOT camp, lol. I'm a big city girl, but I'll take nature over a city any day.

I have lived in a city for 19 of the last 23 years of my life. Nine of those were spent in Manhattan. I hate vacationing in cities because it's not enough of a break from my normal life. I am also getting tired of being in the city, period, but I would hate a long commute even more!

Nature every time. Forests, jungles, mountains, cliffs, steams, the sea, wildlife, WEATHER! I love it!!

I like a mix, I find that my old city activites don't really cut it with my toddler (sitting at a sidewalk cafe, sipping a drink, people watching, musueums, local points of interest). I suppose there are cool things to do with kids in all cities, but I have a really difficult time actually finding them (especially if they're cities abroad).
My son's an adventure kid, so we take him mostly outdoor places.

Well, if I was in Europe, probably a combination. I think overall though I prefer camping and canoeing and that sort of thing.

Both! I'm a city person, but I like to take some time in nature once in awhile. Also some of the most interesting domestic and international places to visit are outside cities.

I guess we normally do nature, I like the beach. But, for girls weekends we do cities so we can sightsee, my husband isn't much of a sightseers

I love staying in a city that has nature a short distance away! I'm not a huge camper, but I love going for hikes in the day and then coming home to a shower and soft bed in the evening. If we're just going for a weekend though, we usually visit a smaller city a short ferry ride away. Long vacations are always to Honolulu, HI

I love a good mix. One of my favorite desitinations is Barcelona because there is such a vibrant city with culture and history, but you can also just go sit on the beach all day!

I like a mix. I live in "nature" (our yard is in the middle of a bluff so we're pretty secluded from the world) so I obviously don't have that longing, but I can't stay in the city for very long either. And I ditto the beach.

Nature! I love surrounding myself with the peace, calm, and beauty of nature. I also love hiking, journaling, kayaking, ziplining, and exploring nature in general - there's so much that nature has to offer! City feels too much like every day life.

Nature, I guess. I don't want to go camping or live off the land, but I also don't really crave the big city vacations. I prefer really small cities with lots to explore. Also, the beachier the better. I love small beach towns in Mexico!

Cities! I am not a nature person at ALL... I would much prefer London, Paris, Tokyo, Singapore... over Hawaii, or any National Park.

Definitely nature! I am sooo not a city girl. We went camping and canoeing in a swamp for our Memorial Day weekend away.
We went to Yosemite National Park for our honeymoon.
