I never have! I feel like since I already know what happens, then it won't be as interesting. I could be wrong, but have never attempted to read a book a second time.

I do! All the time! I'll even pick them up and begin in different parts of the book. It's like visiting an old friend.

Some books I can easily go back to because they're so interesting, or the writing is so good. I don't do it often though, because there are so many other books to read!

Yes, especially if its a book I loved or if its coming out in the theaters soon (Kite Runner, Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Ender's Game, etc.)... or if its a reference book like Parenting books.

Some books. The Time Traveler's Wife has been read and reread many times over. I'm thinking about restarting Harry Potter again (and I can't wait until DS is old enough that we can start reading them to him).

I used to all the time when I was younger! I used to read a LOT and re-read my favorites over and over. But these days, I read so rarely that I feel I should read a new book when I do!

I can't think of any that I've read twice. I'm like you @bao and I think I'll be bored if I know what happens.

All the time. I am a fast reader, so I re-read books otherwise I would be broke.

Definitely! Some books I've read many times! Plus I have a terrible memory, so after enough time has passed, I forget a TON of the details.
Some books I have to reread, specially series. For example, the FINAL installment of the Wheel of Time series is coming out TOMORROW. This will make book number 14 in the series and they've been being published for 20 years! I didn't start reading them 20 years ago, but it's been at least 10, so a lot of those details from earlier books have just been totally lost on me. I'm rereading the whole series in preparation for the final book to come out so that I'm totally up-to-date and remember as much as I can before I start reading the new book!

I do! I forget what happens if I wait a year or so, then read it again.

I do it all the time. I read the Harry Potter and Anne of Green Gables series every year.

I do all the time! Most of my favorites have been read more times than I can count. Just because you know what happens doesnt mean you cant appreciate the beauty of the story again. Plus, i always notice new things I missed the last time.

Yes, I love to re-read books. I have a weird memory where I can't remember what happens in a lot of books or movies.. so I manage to be surprised even when I've read the book before. Works for me!

Yup, I love re-reading books. I find I'll always pick up on something I missed the first or second times I read it!

I read Eat Pray Love twice. The first time I was on a plane to India and finished the entire thing, so I felt like a needed a re-do!
