Every time I check DMs on Twitter, they're all either outright spam from spammers or kinda spam from people promoting a book.
Facebook tends to be less spammy... actually I haven't gotten a spam on Facebook in a long time.
Do you read your DMs on Twitter or PMs on Facebook?

I don't have Twitter and always read my PMs on Facebook.. i've never gotten spam there. But I also don't allow people who aren't friends of friends to send me messages (I think... ) so that probably helps.

Yes, they're always from real people. I seem to have evaded the spammers so far!

I don't have a Twitter account. I read my PMs on FB. Sometimes I'll be a part of a mass "vote for me for x" conversation. I leave those. Everyone else that messages me I know.

Yes, but I've never had any spam - all from people I know!
If it started getting spammy, I'd probably just glance real quick and not read everything

I always read my PMs on FB (don't have Twitter), and they're always from real people. So far, I've managed to avoid anyone who is trying to spam!
