HAHA. I didn't really put any embarrassing items on my list--just some organic cotton nursing pads.

I put a breast pump on my registry...does that count??

@mrsjazz: The funny thing is is I was more concerned with hearing from some of my judgmental aunts who like to share their opinions on BF. I just couldn't bear to deal with them.

Totally agree though, people will buy what they want and skip over products that make them uncomfortable.

I love that you're confident enough to put Depends on your registry! The most personal thing that I could stand putting on my registry was my breast pump -- and that's b/c I knew my mom wanted to buy it for me, so it was easiest to just register for it. DH and I have such an eclectic group of family and friends from very different walks of life, so I know already that there's going to be some serious judgement based on my (pretty tame) registry choices.

HA! I wouldn't put something THAT personal out there but I am definitely registered for a breast pump! Those suckers are expensive!! I did not put anything too personal that goes along with pumping on there, though (like leak pads and such).

I'm fully putting on breastfeeding stuff (pump, storage, nursing pads....) whatever!

I totally put nipple cream, breast soothers, Earth Mother's New Mama Bottom Spray, a pump, a peri bottle (they don't give them to you here), etc on mine!
I see no reason to be precious about it, I'm pushing a baby out of my hoo-ha! That's gonna mean stuff needs soothing

Okay this may be a stupid question byt what are the depends for? When I gave birth they had me wear pads for a few day as after but thats it.

I didn't put anything personal on ours other than the breast pump. I'd be way too embarrassed if my in-laws got me nipple/butt cream or something like that! I plan on just buying myself that stuff, and letting everyone else buy for baby. But good for you for being comfortable with it!

@looch who cares what people think? What kinda men did you work with anyway animals? Not to sound rude but the fact that that type of behavior was permitted in your job disturbs me and is definitely not the norm.

I was just criticized by my mother for the price of my baby car seat so maybe I'm sensitive but I say register for whatever you want / need! People have the choice to buy or not and I'm sure you'll fill in the gaps as needed!

I wish my Mom stuck up for me like that! Instead she laughed and justified it by saying my daughter will be spoiled...Awesome!

My thought is registries are wish lists. Why not dream big?
