I usually recognize bee's more by their avatar photos rather than their screen name, I think I'm more of a visual person though. What about you?

A combination! If the avatar and name don't "match" I'm all thrown off! (Meaning if someone switches theirs after a long time)

Avatar! That's why I haven't changed mine despite the fact that the baby I'm pregnant with in my picture is nearly six months old!

I go by name. The avatars always come second to me.

I go by name and it does confuse me when people change their name (although I just changed mine). Sometimes if I don't recognize the name, I'll recognize the avatar though.

Both! I get confused when the name or pic changes drastically.

Picture, then I check names. If you have a new name, and then change your avatar..I have no idea who you are!

Screen name. Ugh, all the changes confuse me. I have to check the help boards every few days to make sure I'm up on all the changes and I know who is who.
