I still like A's room, but after seeing montessori-style floor beds, I am totally in love. I think we might change everything when he gets mobile so that he has room to explore.

Our nursery wound up being perfect and is largely unchanged from the way it was set up. I'm actually surprised since I have no experience with baby care and the person who helped me decorate has no children!

I keep thinking I'll regret whatever we decide to do-- so I'm seriously picking colors and going with it! I love the idea of doing the bed down on the floor when Baby is mobile-- or by the time they get to the "climb out of the crib" phase -- so much safer!

I wish we had done a montessori nursery. I spent a lot of time decorating the nursery and it worked great for the first 6 months. I guess there was no way for me to know what a crappy sleeper I would end up with and that he would be sleeping on a floor bed in our room at almost 9 months old. Hindsight is a bitch I guess.
I think we're going to sell the crib and redo his nursery with a floor bed and everything at his level. I'm excited about it!

For M, we are getting ready to switch her to a Montessori floor bed. We knew we would change it up when we made that transition.
