I didn't say anything, I was too out of it. They handed her to me and I thought 'hmm, squishy', then they took her away and called a pediatric code. After that it was just 'is she ok?' etc.

"Can I see him? Is he okay?" I asked those two about half a million times while waiting for them to towel him off and run all the initial tests (C-section and his heart rate had been dropping, so the circumstances were a bit different.)

I think I said something like "hi there little one!". My firs thought after he came out though was that he seems like a loud baby. And he was! Even the nursing staff commented on his loud vocals.

"Is it out?" We were team green that's why I said "it".... Upon realizing the baby was out of me: "Thank you God! Thank you God!" Over and over.:)
