Yes...I celebrated on two days. My bday was either Friday or Saturday. I can't remember which now. I was dating my college ex and he was a real jerk. So my girlfriends purposely had dinner at the restaurant he took me too in case I wanted to leave with them.
They came over the table during dinner to "bump" into us and he was steaming mad. The next night my bff came to visit me at college and a bunch of my friends went to a club. Before we left we ate the best ever strawberry cake and some very weird strawberry liquor. Oh we had a lot to learn.

Yes but it wasn't a big deal. I'm in Canada and the legal age here is 18 so that was my more important birthday. I got a tattoo, bought a lottery ticket, and got very drunk lol.

Yep. DH and I were still dating at the time. We went downtown to a few bars but I started feeling ill after our second bar so we went home and snuggled. We're pretty sure that by the time my 21st birthday came along I was already pregnant but we didn't know it at the time.

Yes. It was just 2 years ago.
My husband had an awesome cake made and a few friends and family came over to grill out. I had my first "legal" drink with my dad. Haha

Yes, went out to eat with DH (fiance at time) and some friends and then went bar hopping.

It was epic. I stayed out with my friends till 5 in the morning and ended up climbing over someone's fence to jump on the trampoline in their yard. In a dress. Good times.

I don't remember 21 but legal drinking age here is 19 so I'll share that story. DH (then BF) arranged for a limousine to take me and all our friends out club hopping for the night. I was the youngest of our group. He stocked the bar in the limo and everyone bought me a bottle as gifts. We got VERY drunk but were safely home via the limo

Yeah, I remember it! I was moving into a new house in LA so my mom came down and was helping me. It was a long day of moving and furniture shopping and we decided to go out for dinner after working all day. We were so exhausted and went to bed immediately after getting home! It was a lame birthday but I was away from BF (now DH) and the rest of my family and friends so that was to be expected.

I don't remember it at all.. But I'm inclined to think that's because I didn't do much to celebrate it. I probably went out for dinner with my husband or something?

Yup! I had two finals on my actual birthday, but right afterward my friends took me to Napa for the weekend. We still laugh about the fact that instead of bar hopping and clubbing for my 21st, I went wine tasting!

Yep - spent the day getting a mani/pedi/massage that DH scheduled for me, stopped at the ABC store for my first legal purchase, then went out to a new restaurant in town with my parents, sister and soon-to-be BIL. Received a ton of wine/alcohol from family and friends then went home to put LO to bed.
I did my celebrating the following weekend with my sister and some friends, they made me do the whole 21 years/21 drinks thing.

Yep, ironically we went to Toronto (bf at the time and a bunch of our friends) even tho drinking age is 19 there. LOL
