We bought a girly outfit after we found out it was a girl! Boppy pillow was bought early on since it was on sale on totsy (Idk what they are called now but it's something else..) I'd have to think about what the FIRST item was though...

I think it was actually a big order of stuff from Amazon, but I was 6 months pregnant before I bought a single thing, not having a shower until baby was born, so I needed to make some progress!
It was 2 sleep and plays, a pack of receiving blankets, and a sleep sack. And flood gates opened from there!

It was a 6 month reindeer onesie with an antler hood. It was on the clearance rack a few days after Christmas, and we bought it right before we had our first ultrasound even though I was worried it would jinx something.

Yup. We bought him a stuffed kiwi while we were on vacation in New Zealand. I was probably about 12 weeks pregnant at the time. We named the kiwi Pedro for no apparent reason.

A gender neutral onesie. The husband wouldn't let me buy anything until we knew for sure if we were having a girl or a boy... Well, my scan had to be postponed so he let me buy one thing (: I chose a giraffe onesie set from target (:

Yes. Some random receiving blankets at Wal-mart. We opened the envelope with the sex in the parking lot because we couldn't wait. They were purple and green and we still use them randomly. I plan to keep them around.
