I have always said cupboards, but from reading on HB I think I may be one of the very few. Do you say cabinets or cupboards?

Well, cupboards are where you put your stuff, cabinets are what you pick out when you are building your kitchen. At least that's the way I use them.

I had to think...but if I'm talking about one, I say cupboard. But, if I'm taking about the whole set, I say cabinets, lol

I call them cabinets when referring to storing dishes but when I'm talking about a pantry, I call it a cupboard. Is that weird?

I use both, lol. grew up with a RI-accent mom and a Boston-accent dad, so I'm a total hybrid with everything!
