i don't use the term -- it drives me a little bonkers and instead i use the classy, "haha" or if i'm feeling extra giggly, "heehee" 
but, when i see it, i pronounce it in my head as "loll". you?

I read it as Loll. Before WB/HB, I was a haha type of person but the boards have changed me.

I like lol, just because of how it sounds. Easier to say, IMO:)
