My brother used to send gifts to my LOs but I told him to stop since he has a lot of expenses this year!
Do you buy birthday gifts for nephews/nieces that you don't see on their birthday?

I buy birthday and Christmas gifts for the niece on my side (who is also going to have twin siblings later this year!). We've only ever seen them twice because we live on another continent. I let my DH buy for his side.

Yes, we always give birthday gifts to our niece and nephew. But like you, my brother is short on cash, so I wouldn't be at all offended if he didn't give my kids gifts!

Yes, and we attend their parties. The live an hour away, but the boys love to get together!

Yup! Always. The older two are 12 and I've never missed a birthday or Christmas. I'm the gift / birthday / holiday person in our relationship so I buy for our nieces on DH's side as well.

I do, yes and my brother does the same. We agreed to buy only for kids so we don't gift each other at any time during the year.
My husband only sends things to his godson (that's how they do it in his family) and my sister in law is kind of hit or miss with what she does for our son (she's got a lot going on in her personal life).

Yep! I send gifts for birthdays and Christmas to both my nieces and my best friend's daughters who I call my nieces.

I don't have any!
I do give gifts to my 1 cousin's kids though. She is like my sister, so they're pseudo-neices and nephew.

I would for my sisters kids but they don't have any yet.
DH has 18 and 11 of them are older than we are, so no. I buy gifts for their kids (4 great nieces and 9 great nephews) if I see them for their birthdays.

We only have two, so we always make time for their birthday parties and bring a gift. They live about an hour away. If we lived further away, we'd send a gift.

yep! it's getting so hard now though, there are 3 of them and they already have everything, and their birthdays are all within 6 weeks of each other oh and they're all girls so the youngest two get all the hand-me-downs they need

Yes, although for the older ones (teens/tweens), I just wait until we see each other and take them shopping.

I do for my two nieces on my side, and they are also our God daughters. We don't for my husband's side.

I don't have any yet, but our siblings buy for our LO. We will when we have them, though.

We send presents to our godchildren in other states and the ones that are local we attend birthday parties.

Yup! We just hold onto until we see him the next time, or give it to his dad when he's in town working.

We don't have any nieces or nephews yet, but I definitely plan to send gifts every birthday when they do exist.

We send gifts to our nephews on my side for birthday and Christmas.

I send a birthday card and a very small gift. For example, it might just be a few temporary tattoos or some stickers that I can easily slide into the card.

Yes, to all 7! If we don't see them, because most are out of state, we send a gift.
