I have a sewing machine but I don't sew regularly.
Just watched a knitting and crocheting TV show and now I want to start. Crocheting does look easier.

I do all three. Crocheting is easier than knitting, but the patterns aren't as cute I think!

I also do all three, but knitting is my favorite. I just finished this dress for my little baby girl to come home from the hospital in.

@GreenThumb: That is adorable!!
I can't do any of them (well), but want to learn.

@PurplePumps: Thanks! I actually work part-time in a yarn shop and totally encourage folks who want to learn to either take a class or do a lesson at your local shop. It is so relaxing!
But, I also really like to sew, too!

@bluestriped bee: I would love to learn how to sew! I would hate to buy a machine and never use it. I am not good at knitting but I like to crochet...it's much easier to fix your mistakes and goes so much faster than knitting...but not as pretty as knitting. I make little toys for LO...here are a few of them
@GreenThumb: that is so beautiful!

@GreenThumb: @sandy: I am so impressed with both of your creations!!
I am generally a very crafty person but I've tried my hand at sewing and knitting with terrible results!! I would really love to have both of those skills mastered.

The dress and toys are so cute!!! I'm in awe. I've decided to start crocheting. So far I find it extremely frustrating, but I'm determined to learn!

@GreenThumb: @sandy: love, love! Y'all are awesome!
I sew with a machine, but that's the easy option! I tried crocheting once and I was miserable at it. I couldn't even get past the first line... so sad.

I crochet and can sew a little bit. I love crocheting and make a baby blanket for our friends when they have LOs!

I am the opposite of most repliers so far - I find crocheting to be so much more difficult and frustrating than knitting! I have been knitting off and on for a few years - I usually make friends baby blankets for their new arrivals. My mom is making my LO a baby blanket so when we find out the gender I may have to try my hand at my first piece of clothing like that dress! Too cute @GreenThumb: - great job!

I do all three but prefer to sew or knit. I'm with @LemonLong: and think that while crochet is faster the patterns just don't look as nice, IMO.
If your looking to start it's super easy to teach yourself with all the YouTube videos these days! Even if your a lefty (like me) there are videos that show how to crochet lefty.

I know how to knit and do it once in a while. I mostly cross stitch though. I would like to learn to crochet.

@Mrs D: I also find knitting easier.
I knit and am learning to sew. I crochet a little but don't really enjoy it.

Such cute stuff! I do all 3 but very randomly. I find sewing to be more -- "I *need* this RIGHT NOW" so I sew it as soon as I think of it. I find crocheting very "fast" but I always have to think it through. I am least skilled at crochet.
I am a very good but very VERY lazy knitter.

@GreenThumb & @sandy - So cute!
I do a little of all three - but I am mainly a knitter. I would love be better at sewing and with crochet I know how to do the basics but not much beyond that.

I knit and sew but I'm not very good - I don't learn skills well just following visually so I need to actually find people who can teach me!

I knit, but I think I'm a horrible knitter. I just pulled out my stuff the other day and it was actually ok. I'm just horrible at counting to do things like seed stitch.
I'm going to have to learn how to crochet because I really like the look of crocheted hats.

I know how to sew. I have a sewing machine and made some things for the nursery. I'm no expert tho. I would love to learn how to knit and crochet.
@GreenThumb: that dress is beautiful!

@GreenThumb: That is SO PRETTY!
@sandy: Adorable! I want to learn how to do these someday!
@bluestriped bee:
- I can sew, but it's quite hideous because I'm impatient.
- I can knit anything in a block shape! hahah! I've done some non-scarf projects, but again, not that patient to stick with it well.
- I want to learn to crochet because it does seem easier and faster.

I sew, but not terribly often. I'm making a baby quilt for when I finally get pregnant.
I recently taught myself how to knit but so far all I've made is a square.... lol!

I've used a sewing machine and can use it on a straight line lol.... I've learned crocheting but forgot it all.... Might try to pick up again in the future. I'm a beginner to intermediate knitter.... I made an ugly elephant, but I can do a good scarf, blanket, etc lol. Made some booties and hates but would love to knit a dress for my girl.
@sandy: @GreenThumb: absolutely love your work!

@GreenThumb: that is gorgeous! Looks like an heirloom piece to be saved and passed down.
I used to knit but it made my hands hurt. I love sewing and can't wait to get my craft room set up soon!

I sew and am a beginner at crochet. I crocheted C a blanket when I was pregnant.

I sew a little. I have a sewing machine but I never have the time to use it anymore. It needs some attention. I really want to learn how to knit.
@GreenThumb: That is so gorgeous!

@greenthumb, that dress is GORGEOUS!
@sandy, those toys are so cute! i've seen a lot of patterns for little knitted/crocheted rattles like that, too!
I sew, quilt, and knit, but I want to learn to crochet. I keep hearing how much easier it is! And all I can knit are hats. My scarves just...I dunno, i get bored and give up, lol.
I made a biscuit quilt for the baby most recently. I'm working on a hanging quilt, too, but it's coming along much more slowly. I was sick the weekend I made this, so it came together quickly!

@GreenThumb: that is beautiful! You are so talented!
I can sew quite well, made a wedding dress once. I can knit pretty well, but never picked up crochet.
