We sent photo cards last year and signed the back of them before sending. This year we sent cards that weren't pictures, but were designed online. We made sure to write a personal message in each. I noticed 9 out of 10 of the picture cards we received don't have anything written on them! I guess I'm old fashioned and think you should at least say something like Merry Christmas! Love, X and Y. What are your thoughts?

We sent out 100 cards. It was enough work to design it, stuff them in envelopes, write addresses, and stick on stamps and return addresses all while taking care of a baby. So I opted for the generic. "Happy holidays! Love Mr. Artbee, Artbee, baby Artbee, and dog. "
I hope people appreciate that I was able to send them a card at all.

We got our cards on Shutterfly and we added a message and picture to the back of all of our cards. Standard greeting to everyone!
Last year I hand wrote messages though. -
I always did but noticed that I was becoming the only one who does so this year was the first that I didn't hand write any message but there was a standard greeting on all of them as we got them printed at Minted.

I still make the effort to sign the cards in person as I think it adds a personal touch.

We had printed "Love, our names and the cat's name" on the back of the card itself along with our genetic message, then I hand wrote "happy holidays!" and we each signed our names. Felt weird not at least signing my name, even though my name was already printed on there.

Nope. Everything was already printed on the card. All of the holiday cards we received were the same way.
