I cant remember when I started but I never sleep with underwear on - I guess I like to ummm air out at night - hahaha
Anyway once DS was out of diapers at night I took off his undies and put him in just pjs bottoms too.
Last night he asked me why he doesn't sleep in underwear. I told him its for comfort but he could wear them if he wanted to. He said he liked sleeping w/o them.
How do you sleep?

I do not. It's sort of funny because I can remember my grandma saying you should never sleep in underwear because you need to "air things out" and my mom has also always slept in just a long tshirt. But I always slept in underwear and pj pants and a tshirt. Then I started having some issues last year that I thought was recurrent YI but when I went to my doc she said it was actually just irritation/sensitive skin and that I should sleep without underwear. So I bought a few nightgowns and started just sleeping in those every night and I've never had another issue since! I guess grandma really knew best haha.

I've tried, but can't! Need my undies on! I just started sleeping without a bra on. Maybe one day...... lol

@Mae: @mediagirl: I can't sleep with a night gown because I toss and turn a lot so by the time I wake up, it's up to my neck and all twisted. haha!

I have to sleep in my undies... and a tank.
Dh leaves way before I wake up and I feel weird waking up alone without undies...

Years ago my cousins apartment building had a fire and they were evacuated in the middle of the night with firemen taking them off their balcony by ladder (the fire was in the hallway - their neighbor put still smouldering firewood in a bucket outside her door). She and her new husband ended up outside, naked with just a bed sheet and blanket between them.

For the most part yes, but I never did growing up (same thing grandma used to tell us we needed to air out.) Not sure when I started too?

@Mae: I had the same issues after this pregnancy. Was out of nowhere with the sensitivity. I've also not had any more recurrent issues since I stopped wearing underwear at night.

Not usually...I've got a (sorry for the TMI) YI at the moment so I am wearing them while the treatment happens but otherwise I sleep in just a long-sleeved tee shirt during the winter. I do always keep a robe near the bed, though.

The only time I couldn't wear my undies to sleep was when I was pregnant, I needed the fresh air haha! Otherwise, I like them on. I'd hate to be commando if there was an emergency.
