I only have glasses. But I thought it was bad to sleep with contacts in. No?

I've only done it accidentally, and have woken up wondering what kind of magic has happened that I can see!!!

@Grace: Haha I've done that before! I plan on getting lasik once I'm done having babies! It'll be so weird being able to see clearly without glasses/contacts!

I take mine out. My biggest problem is forgetting to put them in in the mornings because my eyesight isn't that bad.

Sometimes I take accidental naps with my contacts in, but my eyes kill me afterward, so I never do it intentionally.

I used to all the time in college. Then I got a really bad sty and had minor surgery to remove it. I've been a nazi ever since and take them out every night.

Constantly. But they are extended wear ... Kosher for a week or so. Still, I try to remember to take them out every few nights.

I can wear mine without taking them out for up to a month, but I still take them out to give my eyes a rest every so often.

@chopsuey119 I am glad, because it could be worse. My mom can't see without her glasses or contacts. My biggest problem is I get headaches from eye strain without them.

I've fallen asleep with them (usually for a nap) but I try to take them out every night. It just becomes part of my routine with washing face, brushing teeth, etc.

I sometimes nap in my contacts, but I always take them out at night. I have gas permeable lenses so they hurt if I leave them in. Or if I take a deep nap, they become glued to my eyeballs and are pain in the butt to remove.

I am the worst about this. I am technically able to sleep in mine but it's still really bad. Still, I only take them out before bed about once a week. I do try to wear my glasses all weekend so that my eyeballs can breathe.

@mrsjyw: same here...I would go days without taking them out. My eyes are getting drier so I can't do that anymore!
