I usually try to sleep at the same time so I'll wait for him to finish TV shows or stay up until he gets home from work.

I usually can't fall asleep until he's in bed. We almost always head up to bed at the same time but sometimes he has to stay up working in the office and I'll wait up as late as I can. When he travels for work I can't fall asleep...I wish I could catch up on sleep while he's gone but I just can't fall asleep until I'm dead tired

DH works nights (midnight-9am), but i usually try to stay up or get up when he does so I can see him off to work.

I stay up as long as I can when he is working late, but I just go to bed if it getting too late since I like to sleep by 11.

Never! We're on totally different sleep schedules...he has an aversion to going to bed before 11, whereas I have an aversion to staying up past 9! I sleep fine as long as I know he's in the house - when he's away on business or out with friends I can't!

No way - he likes to go to bed at midnight and I can't stay up past 9:30.

No. He usually comes to bed at the same time but if he wants to stay up for some reason I go to bed on my own.

We typically go to bed at the same time, but sometimes one of us is tired and goes to bed earlier. Also if one of us is out with friends the other one doesnt always wait up.

Hell no. If I'm tired and he's playing video games, this lady is going to bed

We usually go up at the same time but if I'm super tired I do sometimes go up before him. It backfires though, because he inevitably wakes me up when he comes to bed (it's not his fault, I'm a really light sleeper) and then I can't get back to sleep!

Only if he's not home. If he's watching tv or whatever I will go to sleep when I feel like it. He watches tv in bed so he's at least still next to me.

Nope! I get up earlier so I go to sleep earlier. He will stay up playing games/reading on the ipad in bed.
When his flight is late, I go to bed, I don't wait up either.

A majority of the time, but not always. If I'm tired and he wants to stay up, then I go to bed.

We always go to bed at the same time. If he's out (rarely) and planning on being home around 10ish, I will wait up. Otherwise I'm taking the opportunity to go to bed at 8!!

We've gone to bed at the same time every night since getting married two years ago, so it'd feel weird not to wait up for him if he were out a bit late or something. If it were for work or a regular thing, though, I'd go to bed without him no problem!

Only if I'm fertile
He works a lot of nights so he's usually either at work, or he's up watching TV so that he can sleep later in the day and not be so exhausted the next night.

Since I've been pregnant I've been falling asleep super early so there are nights when I fall asleep first. But DH has basically been sleeping very early with me! He doesn't mind

My husband is a night owl and gets a second wind around 10 pm. I like to get up early (as if DD gives me a choice) and would love to go to bed around 10. Our compromise is that he goes upstairs no later than 11, and I fall asleep on the couch.

I'm usually out within 15 minutes of getting in bed, so as long as we're sitting in the living room I'm good. I don't think I've finished a movie in bed in 2 years?

Before baby we usually went to sleep at the same time , except if I had a deadline or he was staying up to watch sports or something. W baby though, I sleep early!

It's about 50/50 on if we go to bed at the same time. Sometimes he stays up later to finish a game or something and I head to bed.

@night cheese: This is us! It's totally dorky but he insists on "tucking me in" so to speak.

I used to, but since DS is a crappy nighttime sleeper. I hope into bed as soon as I can bc I know his first wakeup is just around the corner....

We go to bed at the same time during the week. On the weekend if he is staying up late watching tv or playing video games and I'm tired, I'll go to bed without him.
