I absolutely do. I'll be paying them for quite a while. I don't mind since student loan debts are not bad debts to have and luckily, I'll be able to apply for loan forgiveness after 10 full years of payments and that's not that far away.

No. I didn't have to take out loans for school and we paid off my husband's graduate school loans a few years ago.

Ugh yes. Around $60,000. Thanks NYU I pay almost $600 a month and feel like I'm getting nowhere with all the interest. I'm currently looking into refinancing it.

Yes. I should check my balance. I was the first one in my family to go to college and knew I wouldn't have much financial support from my parents. So yeah, I have quite a while before they'll be paid off. I don't mind. My degree was well worth it. I am much more well off than my parents when they were this age. I should consolidate and/or refinance some of the ones I have.

We paid off DH's student loans a few years back. I have a little left so hopefully in the next 2 years we'll be done paying mine too!!

I have 38K from law school left (I had around 56K at one point). All federal loans, 1.65% interest rate. I have zero intentions to pay them off early. Since the interest rate is so low, we can do better investing that money elsewhere!

My husband never had any. I have about $11,000 left. I thought about paying it off as one lump sum when I sold my rental house, but didn't. Because I'm a slacker. I'm kind of waiting on our tax refund so I have more "cushion" money and then I might pay it off.

Then we'll be totally debt free except our mortgage. No cars or anything else.

No college debt here. My parents paid off DHs when we got married.

Ha! Yes. Combined we have over 180k. Its from medical school for my husband and graduate school for me. We actually have less than many people with similar degrees because my husband's family helped with med school costs.

We are refinancing when he finishes residency this summer, which could make it possible for us to pay it off in 7-8 years. Most likely it will be closer to 10 years though. That said, once we refinance for lower interest rates, paying it off isn't our top priority. We plan to move to a house with more land for playing and farming in about 5 years, and that will happen while my kids are still young. So we could pay it off more quickly, but I'd rather deal with the payments for a longer period of time, and be in a place that is right for our family.

Ha, yes. Combined, DH and I have about 50k (and as a teacher, he makes way less than that per year, so it will take awhile before they're gone!)

DH and I both went to law school and he went part-time for 4 years at a private Catholic law school in a very expensive city, so yeah we started our marriage with a home mortgage worth of student loans. We've worked our TAILS off the last few years to pay it all off. We JUST finished paying mine off this month (praise God) and we've killed off 40% of DH's. My hope is to pay his off in the next 3 years or less.
