We have none. Both our parents paid for our university.

DH and I both worked and paid for books/parking/cars etc, but tuition (minus scholarships) were paid by my mom for me and his parents for him. So grateful. We will do the same for our kids.

Oh yeah... I have law school loans. My parents are helping me pay them down, thankfully. I really need to look into refinancing because my interest rates are super crappy!

Yes. I have 28,000. I am hardly making any progress on it right now. UGH.

I've paid off all but 2k if my undergrad loans. DH has more to pay in his but we're prioritizing herting those down as fast as we can. My Ned school loans are ridiculous but I'm applying to loan repayment programs and am very hopeful that I'll get an award that will forgive 1/3 to 1/2 of it.

I think we have 5 more years of payments for DH's grad school loans.

No, mine are paid off. I started out with about $30k in loans, and paid them off in 5 years.

DH has about $25k in loans left, and we plan to have most of those paid off by the end of the year. He started out with about $80k (undergrad and 4 years of grad school).

We are planning on TTC once we get his paid off.

We do not. None from undergrad, and I finagled my way through grad school in the black with scholarships and a couple TA/RA jobs. And eating a lot of beans.

No. My parents generously paid for my undergrad degree, and I was a TA through grad school for tuition/stipend. DH was in the military, which for a couple reasons paid for his undergrad and two graduate degrees.

We did. I didn't have a ton (under $1000 I think), so DH just straight paid it off when we got married. (By which I mean we did, but he handles finances and also literally makes in a day or less what it would take me a week to earn, so I say he did it.) He had more ($25,000?), but we paid it off last year. It was so exciting!

None for either of us. We are eternally thankful to our parents for that!
