I haven't worn my engagement ring in years. Partly because it got snagged on gloves a lot one winter and I need to get it inspected, and partly because it gets in the way once you have a kid. I do wear my wedding band every day though, and would love to get a second stacking band.
I feel bad not wearing it, I've considered getting a different flush mount setting so that it'd be easier to wear. I've even thought about getting a new setting and giving it to my mom (who loves diamonds but I'm happy to do without).
Do you still wear your engagement ring every day?

I purposely chose a wedding band that would look pretty on it's own, but so far I haven't really ever not worn my engagement ring. That may change once I have kids though, who knows.

No kids yet, but I've worn my wedding band everyday since we got married 2 1/2 years ago-- and I wear my engagement ring about 5x/week. I work from home, so I sometimes forget to put it on (I take it off before bed).

I don't have kids yet, so I'm not sure if this will change once I do, but I wear both my wedding and engagement ring every day - I never take them off except when I'm cooking or gardening.

I wear my engagement ring/wedding band every day when I'm outside of our house.

No kids yet, but I haven't worn my engagement ring since we got back from our honeymoon. It's a pearl in a very delicate setting, and I'm terrified of damaging it, especially since it's an heirloom ring.

I had to stop wearing my wedding set all together when I was about 7months pregnant because my fingers were so swollen. But now, 12 weeks post partum, I'm back wearing my wedding band every day. I put my engagement ring on when I leave the house but it's still a tight fit. I used to wear it all the time (even to bed) but with a baby, you're right, it gets in the way. Like you, I would like to get a second ring (push present maybe?) to stack onto my wedding band, which I LOVE.

Mine e-ring and band are soldered together (split shank - to keep the band from spinning). We're a ways off from kids, but I can't imagine not wearing them!

haven't worn mine for a couple of years.
My wedding band is actually 2 bands that were supposed to be worn with my engagement ring in the middle. But, I actually like it better without the e-ring.

i wear mine every day.... but don't have kids yet, so we'll see. i can see it scratching my kids, so i'll probably take it off when i have them.

I lost my wedding band and e-ring when I was pregnant with DD, so I haven't worn anything for about 2 years now. However, my husband just suprised me a couple months ago by rebuying my set. We agreed I'd wait to wear them until after the postpartum swelling goes down from #2, but I can't wait to wear both rings again!

I've never even considered not wearing mine. I couldn't wear my rings for 5 months while the boys were in the NICU, so as soon as I could, I put them back on.

No kiddos yet, but I've already told Hubs that when we do have them, it'll probably become a special occasion ring as it can scratch. He's usually the one scratched by it, so he was okay with that. I'll keep wearing my wedding band though.

I only wear my engagement ring because I never got a wedding band to go with it. I'd like to get a nice wedding band before we have kids and then once we have kids I guess we'll see!

I still wear my engagement ring and wedding band everyday. However, I am definitely considering setting the stone lower. It gets caught on a lot now, and I know that will only get worse with kids around.

I wear both every day, but I wear my engagement ring on my right hand, separate from my wedding band since I don't like the way they look stacked together. I'm in the market for a new wedding band since one of the stones fell out and will still probably wear them separately.

I have a few rings and options that I rotate among, we were married by a JOP 6 months before our wedding ceremony in August. So, for me it depends on where we are going.

No kids yet - but I wear both of my rings all the time (I don't take either of them off). Unless my fingers get swollen during pregnancy, I don't think when I wear them will change!

I wear mine all the time except at night. If I'm wearing one ring, I'm wearing the other. Mine are old and worn in (they were my Grandmother's) and the stone is set in a really low, solid setting so I have no worries about scratching a baby with it or bumping it and losing the stone. This all might change when a baby comes around, though. We'll see.

I wore my engagement ring for awhile. But at my job we have to be very careful about contamination. I take it off at work, but after I got pregnant I was stupid and didn't think that my fingers were going to swell or get fat. It was a mission to take off. Last week I went to a wedding and put it back on and now I can't get it off again. I think we'll have to bring it to our jeweler and get it clipped and then readjusted. Ughhh

I do, I love it too much to not wear it.

I was lucky to be able to wear my engagement ring and wedding band throughout my pregnancy. I stopped wearing my engagement ring a while back and tried it on a few times while taking care of my LO. It really bothers me and gets in the way all the time. It is better off inside my jewelry box.

I am a WAHM so I feel like there is no point since I don't see anyone and work in PJs or work out gear. But I put it on every once in a while because I miss it!

I do..my band is a wraparound so it looks funky without my e-ring..so I wear them both together everyday..I think it helps that my e-ring is a three stone so it doesnt stick out too far.

we never bought a wedding band for me - just the engagement ring. I get concerned about it scratching baby, but I guess we will just need to see what happens & if I need to get a ring that isn't so bulky, I will when the time comes

I wear both all the time. I don't take them off unless I'm cooking and mixing something with my hands (dough or meatloaf) or if I'm doing yard work or something where my rings and/or fingers could get harmed leaving them on.

I stopped wearing my engagement ring when I was about 4 months pregnant. I continue to wear my wedding band though. My engagement ring is slightly tight now, but it also gets caught into my sweaters/clothes. Plus, my son would always play with it. He LOVES shiny things. I would love to get a new ring to combine my engagement ring and wedding band, But we'll see what hubby says.

I wore both rings through both pregnancies and have never had a problem in 2.3 years of being a mom with my ring scratching anyone or anything..and it's no where near flush mount.

I don't have kids, but I wear my ring all the time. My rings are soldered together. I don't see myself not wearing the set in the future; it was meant to be worn throughout my life so that's what I intend to do--hence the soldering. Also, we had the ring design changed a bit before we got married, so that the stone was sunken in to the setting--we thought this would be more practical for me to wear it. So far, no issues!

I can't wait to put mine back on! They still fit but snugly and I didn't want to risk having them cut off it I swelled up too much.

I did until my fingers swelled up, I definitely can't wait to put it all back on again! I had mine designed specifically with a bezel setting so that I could wear it indefinitely and have it take a beating, delicate jewelry does not get along well with me.
Right now I'm wearing a fake wedding band since nothing else fits. I made it until almost 8 months before the swelling got the better of me!

I wear mine everyday and maybe because of my wedding band, which is a wrap, it's never really gotten caught on anything.

I wear both of my rings every day. I am afraid of something happening to my engagement ring though, the ring was in my husband's family for a long time. Eventually I will probably just wear my wedding band. I'm even afraid for that too! Both rings have a lot of diamonds in them.

I wear both my rings every day. Wedding ring comes off only when I am swimming. Engagement ring goes on first thing in the morning. It's a solataire and I haven't ever had a problem with LO being scratched. I enjoy my ring too much not to wear it and my husband would be crushed if I didn't wear it.

Yes. I wear mine all the time. Even when I sleep, swim, workout, etc. I only take my rings off briefly if I'm slathering on some lotion or cooking with raw meat. I'm terrified of losing either of my rings, and if they're on my finger I always know where they are. I'm hoping I can keep wearing them throughout my pregnancy. My hands aren't swelling yet, but it's still early.

mine are soldered together, so yes, I do! but I already can't get "them" off without soap so I'm going to need to look for a chain for pregnancy, I am sure.

I'm not pregnant yet but I intend to wear my rings as long as I can through my pregnancy and then they will go right back on asap after baby comes. I love my engagement ring way too much not to wear it. Not to mention my hubs dropped a lot of dough on this puppy so he would be displeased if it didn't get worn. As far as losing it or damaging it I'm really not concerned. And if somehow that happens, well, that's why we have insurance.

Yes, I wear both every day but they come off (along with all jewelry) as soon as I get home. However, I wasn't able to wear it for a while before I had #1 and a few months after I had him. I'm sure it will be the same with #2 and probably sooner than later b/c it's already tight as it is. Hopefully I won't have to get it re-sized later but I have a feeling I might. Or I'll just have it all reset into a different style. Again, something to do later on.
