I never used to. But in the last few years I have really had a hard time with this. Prenatals are the WORST. They are so large and I feel like a choking on them. I have TMJ and I have to do this weird jaw clicking a few times before I can psyche myself up to actually swallow the pill. It's annoying.

Maybe try gummies?
The only thing I have issues with is mucinex. Mostly because I'm gagging on the taste.
I used to have a hard time, but taking metformin quickly got me used to swallowing ginormous things.

I don't have trouble swallowing pills, but I did some trouble with my prenatals as well. Very excited for you
ETA: I may have skipped more than a few due to being so annoyed with them haha.

I take vitafusion gummy prenatals, and also their calcium+fiber. I remember to take them a lot better since they're actually not bad tasting!

I'm ok with certain ones... Advil Regular liquid gels are fine, but if I take the extra strength 400mg ones, it's terrible. They get stuck in my throat! worst feeling ever. blech!

I am fine w/ swallowing pills but sometimes I get the "it's still stuck in my throat" feeling and I hate that! I take gummie prenatals!

@T-Mom: Thanks! I was able to convince myself to do the prenatals while actually pregnant, but once I started nursing and was supposed to continue them I totally fell off the wagon.

I can't swallow pills. I gag. Thank goodness for prenatal gummies!

I used to be horrible about it but I'm much better now. For me it was sort of a combination of getting it through my head I won't choke, and also just having to do it more. Being pregnant I had to take so many pills that I got a lot more used to it and it got easier. And the last two weeks I've become a rock star at it because I have had to take 31 pills/day postpartum! lol. I used to have to take one at a time but now I can toss 6 pills in my mouth and down them in one gulp with some water.

I don't have a problem with most pills, doesn't matter how big they are.
But for some reason I almost choke whenever I take my progesterone pills! They're little, but the waxy coating makes them stick in my throat. Blech! -
Yep! I have to lots of water. I couldn't swallow them at all till late in high school.

Yes, I really can't swallow anything bigger than a small Advil! And even with that, I need to take it with a carbonated drink to mask the feeling of it going down my throat. I tend to stick with chewable pills whenever possible as it is just such an ordeal for me to get them down!

I used to struggle but now I'm OK unless I think about it too much. My trick is to keep chugging down water to get it down!

I'm normally pretty good. My prenatals suck though! yuck!
