I always tell him. But I've only ever had 2 periods in the time we've been married.

I haven't had my period since Nov. 2012, so yes, I will tell him when it happens. But normally, no, I just tell him if it "comes up".

I always find a way to slip it into conversation (very clumsily) so he knows in advance to not try it on.

Yep. When we were TTC, it was usually signaled by me crying. Now it's just absolute joy that it wasn't horrific like my first period PP.

Usually he knows pretty quickly when I yell: "Ah SHIT! Honey! I need a tampon STAT!" hahaha then he promptly gets disappointed about a week with no hanky panky

If he's making overtures or notices the PMSing, I'll tell him.
