I definitely have certain community members that I "follow" - mostly they have babies close in age to mind so I tend to respond to their posts!

I think so! Probably because we're similar minded.

I'm the same way. I usually respond more to certain posters but it's because they have LOs that are similar in age so we're thinking about the same issues at the same time.

Yep! For many reasons including LOs the same age, things in common, routinely giving good advice, or just being witty.

Yes, for the same reason that you do. I often find that they have the same issues or questions I have because our LO's are going through the same developmental changes. It's great because if I ask my real life friends with older LO's, they tend not to remember stuff from even a few months back! I'll admit I don't either.

I find that some people are more like me in theirs methods/ways of thinking so I gravitate towards them a bit more.

I usually click on posts based on topic. I do click on almost all of lawbee11's since I know her irl. Haha, that's a little stalkerish.

I always click on a thread by one of my fellow oct mamas and ones with photos. Otherwise I post on threads that interest me.

I focus mainly on topics. But I do click on threads if the poster has an LO close to my LO's age too.

If I do, it's not intentional. I tend to read a lot of posts but only respond to those that I feel I can actually contribute towards. Kinda like I read this one twice, thought about it, and am now responding.

Not really, I usually just respond to posts that interest me. Sometimes I'll post a thread that I really want answers to (not just fluff) and I get like 4 responses and it makes me wonder why people didn't respond, is it because of who wrote it or because it just got overlooked?

I usually click on topics that interest me, which is usually a good portion of them. I like to try and answers everyone's questions because I would want them to do the same for me!

I always try to respond to threads from my fellow nov mamas because we are often going through the same things and try to support each other. And then there are definitely posters whose opinions I value very much... But with them it's more that I hope they will respond on my threads rather than vice versa.

Not really. I usually only post on threads that I have answers to, or have a similar question. I tend to reply to certain users who I have more in common with, or who have been friendly in the past.

I go by topic. If I notice a poster has a string of threads I have found interesting, I may go to their profile see what they've posted in the past.
@Tororojo: that's very kind to click on the ones with zero replies. I should do the same! Things move quickly here, and I think sometimes threads could be overlooked just due to speed, not lack of interest.

I usually go by topic rather than by poster. There are definitely some bees whose threads I tend to gravitate to more frequently, but generally it is the subject that catches my eye.
