A lot of us stress about money all the time, myself included! I hear people say a lot "if only I had X extra dollars handed to me it would lift SO much weight off my shoulders!" I think that ALL the time because paying off our mortgage (while more than $100,000) would open up SO many opportunities for us.
But, do you guys think that this is true? If you could just take care of that ONE big problem holding you back, do you think it'd be enough? I always think so, but surely something else would pop up. I'd get used to my financial situation (ie not having a mortgage payment anymore) and then eventually start wishing for even more money for some other purpose. Likely if we didn't have our mortgage payment we'd be fully funding all retirement options and contributing to our children's accounts. So then I'd be wanting 'just X amount of dollars' to go on nice vacations, or to buy a new car, or to move to a better house, etc etc.
Then I just get overwhelmed and try to feel glad about where I am because there's always going to be *something*
