My DD is 3 years old (38 months) and lately it takes FOREVER to put her down for her nap and bedtime. From what I read this could be an indicator it's time to drop the last nap...Her bedtime is also getting so late, I keep trying to push her schedule up but with no success. Not sure if I should just drop the nap and work on a better bed time/wake up time?
Right now I will sometimes I have to wake her at 9 (!) when she's still sleeping. She used to take her nap starting at 1230/1 and now it's more like 230 by the time she goes down. Yesterday I had to wake her from her nap at 530 (after 3 hours...). So of course she wasn't ready for bed until way too late.
I'm hesitant to drop the nap because 1) once she goes down for nap/bed she sleeps a loooong time 2) when she skips naps on occasion she is definitely more temperamental in the evening.
