And what is your definition of spoiled?
I always say to my girls "you are so spoiled!" but I don't REALLY think they are spoiled, I think they are privileged and have everything they need and some, but I don't think that means they are spoiled. Lucky, yes. Spoiled to me is a kid who gets what they want, when they want, how they want it. I'm not saying I don't give in to my kids when I've made them a snack and then they say they wanted the skin off their apple, not on. And then I go ahead and peel it for them. Manners must be used and more often then not I make them deal with what they have. I won't cater to their every need if it's not necessary.
It doesn't make anyone bad, it's a smart thing to do and a good skill to have to manipulate a situation. I def listen to my kids if they're making good points or offer to do something in exchange, or laugh a little if my oldest tells me I look pretty. But it also isn't always going to work.
girl should have gotten some bad grades early on and learned to deal with them! It's not just school either-- this person doesn't take responsibility for her behavior or life outcomes (isn't qualified for the kind of job that would make enough money to fund the lifestyle she thinks she deserves ) at all and blames everyone and everything else
