DD has a lavender polkadot anywhere chair.
I've been looking for one for DS and PBK has lots of new slip cover colors/styles.
I'm debating between checkered, plaid, polka dot and solid..
What do you think?

I don't think polka dots would be my first choice for a boy (I'd go with checkered).. But I do love a man in a polka dot tie!

Polka dots work for some items like a simple blanket, but I'm not so sure about a chair. I love the plaid!

I do think polka dots are kinda girly. We have a plaid one that I love. (Ignore the DH and the dog, lol...)

Is it going in a playroom where the chairs will be together, or is it going in their bedroom?
We have a solid chair, the brown sherpa with the fuzzy trim, but I also adore the patchwork plaid.

I don't think polka dots in general are girly, but the PBK polka dot chairs are light, pastel type colors and look feminine.
I love the plaid or solid chair thr best for a boy.

I don't necessarily think polka dots are too girly but I think I like the plaid or solid color chair much better! If it were me I probably go with a solid color just because it would match my decor better but the plaid is super cute!

I like the plaid but I voted solid because if the chairs are going to be in the same area the plaid will clash with the chair you already have.

Checkered is my favorite. DS has the solid navy one and I just ordered the checkered one for his chairs in the playroom.

@looch: They're gonna be in a playroom together!

I would go plaid, checkered, or solid. Dots are a little too girlie for me!

I don't think of polka dots as girly necessarily, but I do think the ones you posted look girlier. I love all the other options though, especially the madras!

I don't think the polka dots are too girly but they are just not my favorite. I love the solid with white piping!

I voted plaid! DD has the plaid one but that's only because my brother didn't want to get anything girly (he wants DD to be a rough and tough tomboy!).

I think solid is best - not too busy so you can decorate other parts of his room without worrying if it goes with the chair!

the blue and green polka dotted ones aren't girly, IMO, but more... baby-ish. since he'll be using it as a toddler too, I vote solid!
