Was thinking about getting this for a wedding we're going to in April. It's a lot cuter irl.
I always feel a little weird if the dress I'm wearing has white in it.

I think it would be fine... But I would feel funny wearing white so I prob wouldn't do it. It's super cute though!

That is really cute! I wouldn't wear it myself because I would be too paranoid about too much white.

I wore a white dress with a black print and it was fine.
It's a really cute dress!

It's cute! I think if you wear a colored cardigan over it, that might detract from the amount of white.

I think it's cute. You could always wear a cardigan over it if you're worried about too much white (even though I'm sure it will be hotter than Hades in GA by that time!).

I'd wear with colored jewelry nothing white (no pearls) just to tone down the white.
Love it though:)

Love it! You could also add a colored short sleeve shrug/sweater to take away some of the white.

Love it! I would totally wear that to a wedding! I'm in the camp that doesn't care about wearing white to a wedding unless it is similar in style to a wedding dress. As this does not even come close to resembling a wedding dress, you're in the clear!

I would wear it. I think there's enough of a pattern going on that it's not too white. And it's cute!

The dress is pretty. I agree with PPs to wear colorful jewelry.

Very pretty! I don't think I'd wear it though..... just because there are so many colored dresses out there. That way I wouldn't have to worry about offending the bride. That being said, I wouldn't have minded if someone wore it to my wedding.

I'd say way too much white. Like someone else said, if you're dead-set on it you could get a colorful cardigan or something, but I'd just find something else entirely.

I would add a colored cardigan but other than that I think it is fine.

It is technically fine, but I dont wear white or anything white based to weddings just as a matter of principle

To me it's only an issue with white if your dress could be confused for a bride's dress if they wore a "reception dress" that was short and white. Some patterned ones the pattern is too light, but yours is beautiful and bold!! I had someone wear a FULL WHITE dress to my wedding so I know that that stings (trust me I was a mess) but yours wouldn't bother me at all.

Oh and agree with people that you play down any bridal-ness- bolder or colored jewelry/shoes (no white or pearls), a bright pashmina maybe, and make sure your hair is casual and no updo if you can avoid it.

I agree with @KJfromNJ, I think white is only an issue if you could be confused for the bride, or if you're in any kind of all white dress. I think it's fine! You could wear a bright cardigan, as others have mentioned, if you feel unsure about it.

@Pepper: I went to a wedding once where the brides COUSIN (who was not at all in the wedding) wore a short, white, satin-y dress, with one shoulder with FABRIC FLOWERS ON IT, and a tiara/up do. She added black shoes and a black sash but I legit think she got it at David's Bridal. I think THAT is what is supposed to be avoided!!!!

Here's a strange one: a girl I know thought she would have been asked to be a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding, but was not. She wore a dress that look very similar to what the bridesmaids were wearing, and a flower that matched their bouquets!

I'd totally wear it, but I would add kjfromnj's conditions. They are reasonable and make sense.

I said "love it". If you're worried it has too much white then you can put a purple cardigan over?
