I'll vote for DH, they never give them out. He works for a company owned by a HUGE company so it surprises me. Kind of a bummer!

Not a chance. As a teacher our only Christmas bonus is two weeks off

I'm self employed so no. But DH is definitely getting a bonus.

ETA: Yes, the 2 weeks off is marvelous! So grateful. 5 more weeks to go!

No, our company doesn't do that, but Hubs usually gets a little something.

DH and I both work for huge companies and neither gets a Christmas bonus. I didn't even a standard raise this year.

I work for a huge company...Fortune 200'ish...we get bonuses...I am set for 14.5% of my salary but they can apply a discount % on that. Rumor has it they are only accruing at a 50% rate...consistent with constant cost cutting measures we are hearing about...
However - dont worry - all we keep telling the street is that we are having a "record breaking year:...SMH

Nope, they don't really do them here. DH will know if he will get one after reviews are done in Jan/Feb, but they don't pay out until April.

DH always gets one. I used to always get one when I worked outside of the home so he'll just have to share his with me.

I'm a SAHM, but I'm getting a bonus. It's our fourth and final baby! (That counts, right?!? Hahahah)

DH gets his bonus in the spring. I SAH now but I used to work a park district. We were given turkeys at Thanksgiving as our "bonus."

Yes, as long as business is good, we get annual bonus right before Christmas. First company I've worked for that does one though.

We get $100/year that we've worked here, so this year will be 7-1/2 years for me.
My boss finally made a standard to go by... the first year I got $1k, and then the next got a $20 gas card! At least now I know what to expect. -

@Ajsmommy: yea - its a nice bonus...I mean I give them my soul most days so I feel I earn it but it is a great number...its the first company I have worked for where we get substantial bonuses. Actually this is my first year at that level (was 8% before) and then I get the awesome news they are probably whacking them in half this year...it feels like a warm hug

@regberadaisy: I give myself a salary (since I have a season and I don't necessarily bring any money in for several months a year, I have to space it out!) and since I met my goals and just gave birth, I figure I'm due something.

I know I'm not! We don't receive holiday bonuses, but two weeks ago we received our 3rd quarter bonus.

No - our company does the yearly bonus in March and then you're calibrated for any raise/promotion in April.
