I will, but I'm only part time so it might not be much.

We normally do but because of the industry, I don't think we are getting bonuses or raises this year. I'm just thankful to still have a job though.

yeah we get one, not to be all bah humbug but most of it goes to taxes!

Count me in the pack that probably won't get a raise this year, like last year. Bonuses have been gone for at least two years or so.

No raise, no bonus. Usually we get both but because of the economy right now, I'm lucky to have a job.
grapefruit / 4988 posts
Probably not, but I did get a small raise this year. Sometimes they give us one or two extra PTO days to use for the next year so I'm hoping for that.

I'm self-employed so none for me!
My husband usually gets his bonus in March, but he is most likely switching to a new job at a new company next month, so he won't be getting his March bonus from his current employer. BUT, the new employer knows this is the case so is throwing in a BIG signing bonus to compensate for the lost bonus!

Nope, I work at a start up, so no bonuses. DH works at a large company that does quarterly bonuses (10%/year total) but those happen after the quarter ends. So in January, April, July, and October.

DH already got his since they're on the fiscal year. I will get one after Christmas, but it will be prorated since I took 6 months off after I had LO this year. So it'll be a lot smaller than what I would normally get.

Holiday bonus- no. My end of year bonus comes out in March after my performance reviews are looked at. I think I'll get a prorated bonus because I was on maternity leave.

SAHM, but DH definitely will. They just implemented them this year, so it's pretty exciting.

Ha no way. I work in healthcare. But DHs work actually gives all spouses an incredibly generous cash bonus as a thank you for putting up with work travel and the intensity of his job. He also receives a year end bonus.

Prob not but I only worked until the end of July.

Nope. Last year they cancelled our potluck holiday party. This year we're having it. So there's that.

@Littlebit7: what??? Spouses get a holiday bonus too?? That's awesome
@Corduroy: they cancelled the holiday potluck???
@.twist.: @lilyann: yes, I've been laid off twice in the last 3 years. Once with a 4m old and once while pregant. So yeah, I'm definitely thankful I have a job right now. Hopefully I still do in the new year! Lol

I'm a teacher, DH is a grad student/adjunct, so no!
In fact, because DH's classes won't run for a month, we're likely to lose money + we get to pay for my next round of immigration (which at least this time will "only" be $600)

Another self-employed person with no bonus. But I do get two weeks off while daycare is closed.
honeydew / 7235 posts
I get one, and it's figured as part of my salary. I get it second week of December. I'm on maternity leave though so it will be slightly less to match my leave (ugh) but still looking forward to it.
nectarine / 2115 posts
DH always gets one in the form of a Visa debit card. Every year, so we definitely expect one this year! I'm a SAHM so my bonus is having a lot of family around to help out with DD
grapefruit / 4819 posts
As as SAHM, no
DH gets a few bonuses throughout the year, Christmas being one of those times, in addition to the two weeks over the holiday off, so it's definitely a nice time for us!
grapefruit / 4355 posts
@Mrs D: sounds like how DH's company does their bonuses. They aren't accruing at a very high rate this year, but he'll still get some bonus.
