After high school and college, I sucked at running. So, I trained for a half marathon to push myself out of my comfort zone, and prove to myself I could do it. It was one of the most grueling, yet rewarding experiences of my life! My favorite thing is yoga though, and I'm naturally good at it, but feel bad for "only doing" yoga sometimes. Do you try to conquer sports related things you aren't good at and/or stick to what works for you? What do you like to do?
but I've forced myself to try things- yoga, pilates (sp?), kick boxing, etc. I also forced myself to get in awesome shape once- that's how I met DH, he was my trainer
yup, it worked out for me, lol. I'd like to run a race someday just because I SUCK at running! I had whooping cough when I was younger & my lungs have never been the same. Even a 5k just to say I ran something.
