And if you do, do you mind posting it? Our house is spotless at the moment and it would be awesome if we could keep it that way til baby gets here! I think a daily cleaning schedule might be the ticket.

I always think about making a cleaning schedule.
It's never happened, though, lol

I've seen schedules online and I love the idea, "Monday I clean my bathroom, Tuesday I clean the kitchen," but I never do it. I don't know why....I think apartment therapy has good ideas for schedules! Someone shared that once a month she does things like baseboards or cleans the top of the fridge.
I once heard "clean is just a moment in time." I honestly say this to myself when I see my sparkling kitchen get dirty 45 minutes later!

I've been researching other people's cleaning schedules because I think it's a great idea that I want to utilize soon. I plan on starting with this, although I am going to modify it a little to fit my needs.

I just googled some the other night, but didn't pick one. Maybe I'll do that tonight after LO is in bed.

There is a blog that I read called Clean Mama that has a bunch of printables I might try. I thought about doing the Fly Lady schedule but it just stressed me out. There's no way I'm waking up early to shine my freakin sink every day....It doesn't mean THAT much to me! lol!

I try but it doesn't really all get done. This is mine:
Morning:
Make bed
Unload dishwasher
Night:
Load dishwasher
Tidy up kitchen after dinner
Monday: clean all bedrooms, wash sheets
Tuesday: kitchen deep clean and fridge (I do this Tuesday because trash pick up is Wednesday. So food I toss isn't stinking up the trash for too long)
Wednesday: clean bathrooms, wash towels
Thursday: clean living room, vacuum couch
Friday: laundry
My DH is in charge of cleaning the yard/patio/outside stuff.

@runsyellowlites: @MamaJ: Ooh, I like those! They're both totally do-able for me.
I used to clean our whole house top to bottom on Saturday mornings, but I'm trying to enjoy my Saturdays more... plus now that I'm nearing the end of my third trimester its kind of overwhelming and exhausting to do it all at once. I usually get started and 45 minutes later I'm on the couch watching E News and the house is still a wreck

Here's mine. The "rotating chores" end up happening about once a month in turns. I'm not super anal about it, so if I have extra time I might work ahead to allow for Friday plans or just skip it, knowing I'll get to it next week. I put it into a calendar format and put it in a plastic sleeve on the fridge, adding any other "to dos" for that month as needed with a pen.
DAILY:
MORNING
Make bed
Wipe down bathroom counters
Empty dish drying rack
Rinse coffee maker
Take out the trash
NIGHT
Wash dishes
Wipe down kitchen counters
Quick sweep, especially in the kitchen
Clear coffee table
Sort mail
Chore of the day
WEEKLY
MONDAY: Vacuum rug and bedroom
TUESDAY: Scrub toilets and tubs
WEDNESDAY: Windex mirrors and windows
THURSDAY: Rotating chores
FRIDAY: Swiffer floors and dust
SATURDAY: Laundry
SUNDAY: Rest
ROTATING CHORES:
Wipe down all furniture and cabinets
Scrub oven, microwave and fridge
Wipe down all walls, moldings and doors
Spot clean upholstery and rugs (wash couch cushions)
Go through LO's clothes and adjust/store sizes

I'm guessing my cleaning lady coming every other week isn't what you are looking for

I have a chore chart taped to the microwave in our kitchen. I'm a complete nerd, but it really helps me keep organized.
