I just bought Garnier-brand BB cream, which just recently came to Canada. I like it a lot! It makes my face look fresh and clean, without having to put on foundation or anything. I don't wear much makeup but it's nice to put something on my face when I go out...

I have no idea what BB cream is! I usually wear moisturizer+spf during the day. I think the only time I wore foundation was on my wedding day!
I stopped wearing night cream because I've been lazy. Must start taking better care of my skin. -

YES YES YES I just started using it and I LOVE IT!! I learned about it from Jen, From Head to Toe (frmheadtotoe.com). She said it's called the secret of Korean actresses. When I heard that, I was sold
I bought the exact one she recommended (because we use the same shade of foundation, I knew the color would be ok on me) off of Amazon and it's so much cheaper than my old foundation (Bare Minerals). It's like a mix between tinted moisturizer, foundation, spf, and anti-aging. Jen from the videos mentioned that the Americanized BB creams aren't as good-- they are basically just nice tinted moisturizers. I absolutely looooove the one I got and am going to get the other for summer because it's a less oily formula.

yes! i love bb cream. i use a korean brand and i like it a lot for just everyday wear. but i use regular foundation for more formal occassions.

Yes - on weekends when I don't want to have a lot of makeup on. Bought mine at the Face Shop - a little bit of bb cream goes a long way

I want to try it, but the garnier one has gotten bad reviews compared to other BB creams out there. It's not too expensive, but I'll probably wait until I run out of my current stuff.

@looch: i got Boscia bb cream at Sephora. But now this thread is making me want to try other brands just to compare! I will continue using it though because it works for me. I do like boscia's line of products as well so that's why I went with theirs first!

Apparently MAC and Clinque have their versions of it (but it's unavailable in Canada)...I've heard good things about the Boscia one. I chose the Garnier one just because it was inexpensive and I just wanted to test it out. I'm really pleased with the results but it isn't as good as the real Korean ones. Maybe when this Garnier one is finished, I'll invest in a better one.

It's only $10 per bottle and it lasts forever, apparently! I only use 1.5 little squirts every morning... and the .5 is for extra coverage since I have a lot of moles and age spots starting up
When you apply it, it's a little grey tinted, but in 15 mins or so it literally blends to your skin color. No joke. I've never had a foundation match my skin so well or look so natural. And it only comes in one shade so I think it can work for a lot of skin types. I might buy that one too because I'm finding the original is a little oily for my skin these days. My office is always super warm so I'm always sweating. But I'm definitely going to buy that one for summer.

This girl's blog has CHANGED MY LIFE. I literally bought six or seven different products in the past 3 months purely because she recommended them and showed how to use them on her blog (in her videos), and I use them almost EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. These include 1) Skin 79 BB Cream, 2) Tarte blush in Exposed, 3) Nars concealer in Custard, 4) Cream/Gel Eyeliner (I use a Tarte brand but her favorite is Wet and Wild!) 5) Tarte finishing powder, 6) Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, 7) L'oreal hip eyeshadow duo in Electrified.

This is fascinating! I am not a big makeup wearer so this sounds great. The only thing is that I have darker skin than the average Caucasian/Asian woman... think like Eva Mendes shade. So most of these would probably be too light... are there any brands that have multiple shades?

@hergreenapples: OMG, so that's the thing. I went to Shoppers and looked where you would think it would be (makeup aisle or even face cleansing aisle) but nothing. So I asked one of the employees and she said "Oh, it's in aisle 6." I asked, "What aisle is that?" And she said, "Seasonal, Easter stuff." I was like, "WhaaaT?" She shrugged and said, "Yeah, I don't know why." Also, it isn't on a shelf...It's in one of those cardboard stands...It's actually on sale right now, which is why I ended up buying it.

Isn't she AWESOME?? I feel like the luckiest girl since we have similar skin tones and I don't even need to guess or wonder which color to buy for things. I literally just order or pick up whatever she recommends. I especially love her eyeshadow tutorials for monolids because I have them.

Also she's like under 5 feet and super tiny (she wears like size 4 shoes) and I usually hate women like that because I feel like a huge bear or troll next to them... but I can't help but like her!
