@mrs. wagon: HAHAH yeah. I find lots of female vloggers annoying too. Even rice bunny (or whatever her name is). Jen is super adorable though.

I use the Skin79 pink BB Cream, and I'm a fan! I still mix it with my daily moisturizer to thin the coverage a bit.

@Mrs. Wagon: I'm ALL ABOUT the Tarte blush in Exposed ever since I saw it on frmheattotoe! I'd never been happy with the way blush looked on me and decided to check that one out because she liked it so much. LOVE!

@joyjoy: I know, me too!!! I am also interested in trying out some other blushes now that I'm regularly using it. I never used blush before frmheadtotoe came along into my life. Next will be lip color... I don't use any!!! I bought a Revlon Lip Butter but they only had a few colors in stock, and I don't like the color I ended up getting (Berry Smoothie). I'm gonna need to try some others!

Yes, I luuurve my BB cream!

I bought the pink Skin79, also a the recommendation of blogger From Head to Toe. And then when I went to Taiwan in January, so I bought the Clinique and a Maybelline mousse version. Haven't opened the Maybelline one yet, but I am currently using the Skin79 one everyday. I think I like it better than the Clinique one.

@Rubies: I was pretty surprised when I pumped and the lotion was a light brown! All my lotions are white. It was really light and non oily going on.
Not sure if I'm going to use it.. might give it to my sister when she comes next week.!

what's funny is that it's been around in Korea since 08. i think it's good, but at least the Korean brands like Missha the color is kinda ashy. it's interesting how the American markets are going crazy over BB cream.

@Rubies: @chopsuey119: @Clementine: I have been using it every day since I got it and I love it so much. I think I need a different concealer because I've been using the Nars stick concealer after the BB cream and it doesn't seem to stick, since the BB cream is so slick and lotion-y. I'm thinking more of a cream-y, liquidy concealer would be better for me. gotta go to sephora. But the BB cream itself, I just love how it is not cakey when I move my face. I know now that the wrinkles are going to start becoming a factor that's going to be huge. The color DOES go on ashy but I find it blends really well to my skin tone after about 15 mins. And I hear the pink one is less ashy.

I use the boscia bb cream from sephora and I like it...easier than foundation and doesn't get rubbed off on the baby when she's all up in my face

Based on all the raves I just ordered both kinds of the skin79 bb cream...I hope I love it bc it is such a good deal!

@mrs. wagon: @chopsuey119: @Rubies: Does the Skin79 bb cream really blend into your skin and match your skin tone? I feel hesitant to order a bb cream because it's so light!

@enjollah: @mrs. wagon: The bb pink isn't ashy at all in my opinion.. I put it on and felt like it blended in almost right away. Wasn't oily or slick either..! Worked well with my skin color.

@Clementine: that is funny! It has really just blown up & been everywhere in advertising in the past few months!

@enjollah: Immediately after putting it on, it seems a teeny bit ashy but the more I rub it in, the better it blends and presto! It's perfect!

@joyjoy: @mrs. wagon: OMG, I just went and read a million pages of From Head to Toe and I love it! I went out and bought Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait, and I really want that Tarte blush.

@daniellemybelle: I really like the look of the blush. It works better with my skin tone than others that I have tried. How do you like the lip butter? I've been wanting to pick up one of those.

@enjollah: They are kind of light. You can find some that are a little grayer or yellower, but they don't really make deeper tones that I've seen. I'm somewhere around an NC25-NC30 (which I think counts as medium-light), and the pink Skin79 is fine on me. Those I've seen generally range from NC15-NC30. I'm not sure how they would blend with skin tones that aren't close to that. You can see how different shades work on a couple different light skin tones here: http://www.frmheadtotoe.com/2010/12/huge-bb-cream-overview-reviews-swatches.html

@joyjoy: I love the Lip Butter! It is super moisturizing and feels smooth and light, which is great for someone like me who is not really into wearing makeup. It doesn't last very long but I love the color I got!

@daniellemybelle: I haven't found a good color for me in the Lip Butter because they're always sold out at my CVS!! Hoping the next one I try will be good. I'm so bad with lip color. I always think I look like a clown.

The tarte blush is great!! Wearing it right now

@mrs. wagon: You should definitely try Peach Parfait - I find it to be very natural looking if applied with a light hand!

@daniellemybelle: Just wanted to let you know I FINALLY found the Peach Parfait (it's always sold out at CVS!)-- it was the last one at Target-- and I LOVE IT!!!! I keep applying it over and over because I just love the color so much. This is my first "real" lipstick and now I can't wait to find more that I like

@mrs. wagon: I just bought the Skin79 BB cream based off of your comment! can't wait for it to come in the mail

do you change between the hot pink and gold versions? (lighter formula in the summer, more moisturizing in the winter?)

  33. mrs. wagon

    blogger / watermelon / 14218 posts

@Cchoi4: omg you will love it. I really love it. Honestly it's the same for me as a liquid foundation BUT it has all the benefits of SPF, anti-aging, etc but still acts as a great foundation.

I have both kinds now, and I find that the pink version is a little less moisturizing, so I was planning on using it in the summer when my skin is a little more oily. But after using it a few times I've noticed that the gold version is a little better in general in terms of coverage. BUT the pink version matches my skin tone a little better so looks a little more natural. I prefer lots of coverage (a more made-up look) so I've been sticking with the gold. BUT the gold can get a little oily. So I might try mixing the two in the summer?? I hope that makes sense!!

The BEST part about it is that it's so much cheaper than what I was previously using!!!
