I almost never used the oven since Asian cooking doesn't call for using the oven (it's where we store our pots!). But lately I've been using the oven a lot more and it's so much easier! Just throw everything in and let it bake.
What about you?

DH and I split the cooking throughout the week. He never uses the oven when he cooks. I use it probably 50% of the time. Love not having to worry about stuff too much! Though I do think our oven must be cooler than normal because it seems like it takes FOREVER for things to cook.

I use both a lot, sometimes at the same time, there are a lot of things that I will start on the stove and gets finished off in the oven.

Mostly the stove for the same reason as you. Only time I use my oven is if I'm baking something for dessert or pot pie.

Oven for almost every meal, and if I have chicken (or whatever) in the oven i'm also using the stove to make sides.

I use the stove more often and also store my pots in the oven. I use my toaster oven a lot and will occasionally use the oven when roasting chicken or for baking. Roasted veggies go in the smaller toaster oven. It's more convenient and uses less energy (maybe).

Stove more often , we almost never use the oven in the summer because it heats the house up. In the winter I tend to roast things more though. Casseroles, roasted veggies....mmmmm..... now I want roast beef and brussel sprouts for dinner.

We cook on the stove at least 4 - 5x a week. The oven gets used 2 - 3x a month a most.

I use the stove more, but i sometimes find it easier to cook things in the oven. Sometimes i'll just roast/bake meat, which requires a lot less prep work than something i make on the stove.

The stove far more often than the oven though I gravitate toward the oven more during winter months because it makes the house nice and warm.

Me too! It seems like most Asians just use it for storage. I have a double oven and have ever only used one maybe once every month or two.
