@autumnlove: I have 2, one is photo ideas that and the 2nd is pregnancy/kid stuff that I don't want to forget about.

I have a few. I have one for gift ideas for other people and one as a catchall for baby stuff, special ideas I don't want everyone to know about - like if I'm having a party or dinner and I pin some recipes or decorations or favors, I don't want people to see it all beforehand.

Yes, for baby stuff since people have no idea that we are planning on TTC soon and I'd like to keep it that way!

@PermaStudent: Same - for two full years, my baby boards were private.
I used private features for baby stuff before we announced, infertility stuff before I let people know what was going on, and I have a joint-private board with my sister to plan her wedding (she isn't engaged yet, lol).

I started one when I got pregnant again, but that is it.

I did before we told everyone about the pregnancy. But I really admire those who pin publicly before engaged, pregnant, etc. like the "don't tell my husband" boards, haha. Also, you need to save the ideas before you need them, it makes so much sense to pin things early! I have one for ideas I don't want people to know about haha
