When DH travels, we text throughout the day and will skype/chat on the phone for a few mins.
When he's working locally, we just text.
Today, he called on his drive home and we talked for over 20 mins. Weird!

Whenever he gets off work he calls me to say he's on his way home and to chat even though I will see him in about 15 minutes.

He calls me when he gets out of work every night (because he has flex out-times). We usually don't talk for very long, though. He called me every night to talk for like half an hour when he was out of town for a week last year.

During the week yes since he is traveling. But when he is home, he calls when he is on the way home.

Almost never now. We used to talk on the phone when we were long distance, but now we're together almost constantly so there really is no reason to talk on the phone.

Almost never. Only if he's out of town for some reason or has to tell me something urgent that can't be explained via text.

I'm not much of a phone talker (I'll text DH if I need to tell him something), but he usually calls me to check in about once a day.
We work opposite schedules, so if we didn't talk on the phone we'd sometimes go days without talking at all

Almost never. We only talk on the phone if one of us is leaving work late or we need the other to do something real quick while they're out OR if I'm picking up food and want to know what he wants.

We gchat throughout the day but rarely talk. That's usually b/c he refuses to turn the ringer on his phone so he wouldn't know if I did call. Not that that has ever bothered me before or has ever been something that we've had a heated discussion about...........

He works nights so I usually call him before I go to bed to tell him I love him and hear him tell me goodnight
