I want to have a playdate at my place, and while I'm okay with other LOs germs, I'm wondering whether I should clean DS's toys as a courtesy. Do you think that's necessary? What do you do about this? Or does it depend on age? Our LOs are 13 months old-ish, so they still put everything into their mouths!

I would definitely not worry. If you are even asking this question it likely means you keep your house in half decent shape and there is likely no outbreak of disease on your toys!

At that age...not really. I'll wipe down toys afterward if one of the kids seemed sick, or if a specific toy spent a lot of time in someone's mouth. I was much more obsessive about toy cleaning when LO was younger though. I used to put away soft toys that would be hard to clean (like her Lamaze toys) so they didn't get chewed.
