I cannot get over how good this current season is! The last 2 seasons have been so intense. I didn't love it at first, I hated that guy. Now it's probably one of my favourite shows. I never hear anyone else talk about it though, am I alone in loving this show?!

YES! We just saw last night's episode and we were SO MAD when it ended. The season seemed to start off a bit slow (Alison seemed drab and annoying... little did I know) but damn, it is so suspenseful now! I really hope Quinn is okay!

DH and I are obsessed, too! We just started watching 2 years ago, so we binge watched the first couple seasons. I'm a couple episodes behind right now, though.

I love Homeland! This season has been slow, I thought, until the last two episodes. It's possible I'm biased by how much I hate that journalist girl.
@MrsB2012: when you say you hated "that guy" do you mean Nick Brody? I am so so so on the opposite page as you, I loved Nick Brody (but I also really love Damian Winters, the actor who plays him).

I feel like maybe I didn't like the first season or two as much as they were a little more gory. I always watch it right before bed and used to find it hard to sleep after.I can't wait for next weeks!

@petunia354: QUINN! I have read reviews that indicate he either passed naturally (the sunlight thing) or that suggest Carrie was inevitably pulling the plug. Either way, I don't want to believe it. I'm also sad about the terrorist who had a change of heart.
The thing with her boss was super weird! Is this why he told her boyfriend she was unstable, to pull them apart? I wondered at that time if he was up to something. Not sure how this will play out next season.
I'm sort of disappointed in how they ended things with Allison. I would've liked to see her captured alive!

I have a funny story. I kept hearing about this awesome show called homeland. People KEPT bugging me to start watching it. So, finally, one day I decided to start watching. There were horses. SO many horses. A ranch. Some cowfolk. It was really terrible.
So, I was telling my friend about how everyone is app up in arms over this show called heartland and how it was supposed to be a real thrill and ... all I could see were damn horses! Well, my friend informed me that I was watching the wrong show. Obviously, I got the names mixed up.
Anyway! End of story, I still haven't started homeland, but I want to.

@petunia354: My reading is that Quinn is for sure dead - I think Carrie was going to smother him. When Dar Adal said "Poor Peter, this was his worst nightmare" I think that did it - Carrie wouldn't have left him like that. But it makes me so angry! What was the point of his whole plot this season? Why bother to have him live through the sarin gas test? You could have taken Quinn out of that whole plotline and nothing would have changed.

@erinbaderin: I do agree with you. The way Carrie shut the blinds and put the monitor on her finger definitely led me to think that she was going to smother him or end his suffering. But Homeland loves a good plot twist so part of me is still holding out hope
I also agree with his role in this season, very bizarre. I sometimes forget that she didn't work for the CIA this season, I wonder what they are going to do next since she made it clear she didn't want to go back.
