Only when i go snorkeling on vacation because my back really tends to burn then. Otherwise i rarely sunburn.

@Leialou: I found one that is loose so it's easy on and off even when wet.

Yes! I love them.
@Leialou: No, they're not hard to get off. If you plan on using them to actually prevent board rash, you want them skin-tight (I have a few of those for that purpose), but for sun protection and swimming, I buy them slightly loose.

Yes! I bought one last year when we went to Thailand because I am soooo paranoid about burning. Mine is long sleeve and I didn't have any weird tan lines. I wear it anytime I'm in a bikini unless it's later in the day.

I saw that j crew had some and they were so cute! I have to be very careful in the sun so it seems like a good idea, but this year I don't think we'll be doing any water activities with new babies. Maybe for next year!
